Bodybuilder scarred from steroids

Nah, you'll learn more from discussing booze than you will steroids on the internet

Agreed! This is the serious issue of roids and people are discussing beer. What is your contribution regarding the views expressed by the Doctors in the article?

Mreik was merely referring to me without saying it directly.

I'm only going to address one point briefly, since this is just too much for me to do over the .net. Do you know what a 'bodybuilder's dose' is?

Nope.

It's not the same for the Joe Schmo gym rat (as that guy appeared to be).

Well i figured that much out.

So you're telling me he took 1g+, more like 2g+ per week! If you take 100mg of AAS in a week you'll be fine (the amount normally prescribed for a wasting patient, HRT, TRT, etc)

Thanks! I'll remember this for when i do my next cycle.

...., just like (sticking with your aspirin) if you take 3-4 aspirin a day you'll be fine. But if you take 2000mg (2g) of steroids a week (LOW BB dose) you're gonna see some side effects.

Genius.

If you take 14 aspirin you better believe it'll be your last f'n headache, and you'll never have to worry about 'ulcerating acne' again.

Who the f--k takes 14 asprin...

So (and correct me if I'm wrong), what you're tryna say here is that the only reason the guy suffered the side effects is because of substance abuse and that taken in moderation steroids are ok...?

Haha, screw you man! You forgot the Jamieson.

Okay, I don't wanna tick anybody off with anymore nonsensical talk. They are trying to have a serious discussion. :)

I wasn't referring to you btw, thanks for playing though. All the people that OD on aspirin are the people that take 14, which is MUCH higher than the number of people who died from AAS.

No that's not what I'm saying. People get side effects from everything, at every dosage.

You're using a woman taking male hormones as justice that steroids are bad? Sorry, not gonna work. If I took birth control I'd grow tits, and yeah, I'd be stupid. Yet, birth control still does what it's supposed to, when taken like it's supposed to.

Wikipedia is user written so it's a illegitimate source. And even in the BBC article it talks about "Misused drugs", aka they misused them!

Well, you're not convincing anyone that their use is good.

True.

would 14 aspirin really kill ya?

I have taken 8 ibuprofen before. heck, a bunch of times. dang. I have abused them enough to knwo that chewing them up will burn your gums. and the entry into my throat.

I am all about dying, but not like that.

I think Mreik meant 14 at once, not spread over a 24 hour period. I've taken well above the recommended amount of ibuprofen for several days at a time and nothing happened to me.

who in the world would let the scabs and yuckiness build up like that. Are you guys sure that is authentic?

That's legit. Did you see the steroid documentary about the guy whose body is shutting down as well as risks to tumors, enlarged hearts, kidney failure etc?

Yeah he suffered permanent damage, will he be able to go on holiday and take off his shirt on the beach?

Hamburger. That guy looks awful. I can't imagine androgens making a person's skin fester like that, though.

I know a lot of athletes who have taken steroids, and none of them had any side effects other than a decrease in sex drive and a shrinkage issue. When they stopped taking them, the side effects reversed completely.

I'm not condoning the use of steroids but if you're going to take them, make sure you know EXACTLY what you're doing.
