Bodybuilder scarred from steroids

You replied with just "wow" to my post, that's why I asked "what wow?" (not "what now?") I was just asking what you meant by wow. Then I continued the post ,assuming you thought my post was faulty or extreme, explaining what I put behind my post. Didn't mean to come off as aggressive, so I apologize if I did.

my point is exactly that asprin is an over the counter drug and steroids are not. You hear about steroid abuse and bad side effects all the time, never about asprin. why? because it doesn't happen with asprin, or because the media won't eat it up because it doesn't sell? My point is that the media controls pretty much what the general population thinks. I'm not saying steroids are all good, but the media shows it as the most evil drug known to man, which is simply not true.

There's your answer. And there's nothing you or me can do about it.

Just propper drinks like Absinthe

The most vile sh-t i've ever tasted.

Anyone remember that guy getting scarred from asprin?
...
no?
...
I wonder why..
...
oh, that's right, it's only with steroids that the media blow it up into a huge thing the few times something actually goes very wrong.
Scarred from asprin? That's news or history, have a link by any chance? In any case scarring is the least of the young man's concerns, he suffered low sperm count and shrunken testicles. Its bad enough looking like a napalm survivor just from roids but what if he will be unable to have kids in the future? Can he sue the guys who provided him with steroids? Why do you only get these kinds of conditions with steroids, people take ordinary foods, protein powder, go to the gym and look impressive. Look at the pics, he does not even look ripped for someone who has taken roids for years and years. Is the collateral damage really worth it?

I think I need to clarrify, by "scarring" I didn't mean literally marks on his body, but rather bad side effects.

My point is that I don't have a link, nobody does, but does that mean it doesn't happen? A lot of drugs that are over the counter or can be gotten pretty easily have some serious side effects (these side effects are rare) and it's the same with steroids, but because they are performance enhancing they get put in a very bad light.

Most of the common side effects of steroids are reversible, they go away once you get off the cycle. So sperm count and ball size goes up. Though I have heard of some extreme cases where this didn't happen, in one, the guy had been using since he was like 14 years old (just his accounts from an interview and a diary he wrote)

Steroid use and abuse are two different things. And sometimes, even with low doses, it does go bad, as with all other drugs.

There's no reason for him to have suffered long term damage or shrinking of his balls; another reason why I suggested he didn't know what he was doing when taking them

Just reading some of the ignorant responses in this thread gives me a headache. Why is it that the traits uneducated, ignorant, and outspoken always come together? Now that's a good topic for a thread.

Agreed! This is the serious issue of roids and people are discussing beer. What is your contribution regarding the views expressed by the Doctors in the article?

I think you misinterpreted my post. I wasn't speaking of the beer talk, I was talking about the article and some of the posts backing it.

I'm only going to address one point briefly, since this is just too much for me to do over the .net. Do you know what a 'bodybuilder's dose' is? It's not the same for the Joe Schmo gym rat (as that guy appeared to be). So you're telling me he took 1g+, more like 2g+ per week! If you take 100mg of AAS in a week you'll be fine (the amount normally prescribed for a wasting patient, HRT, TRT, etc), just like (sticking with your aspirin) if you take 3-4 aspirin a day you'll be fine. But if you take 2000mg (2g) of steroids a week (LOW BB dose) you're gonna see some side effects. If you take 14 aspirin you better believe it'll be your last f'n headache, and you'll never have to worry about 'ulcerating acne' again.
