Foods-
2 cups canned green peas, mashed

Things still hurt but I found a way to avoid the huge long painful er wait- Yay.
Our pharmacies can prescribe some things now so I dragged myself to one and got some antibiotics. I'm supposed to know by Saturday if I'm feeling better. So that's the good news. Hopefully.
Now the not so good news.
With the newly discovered reduced kidney function- idk if it's already been but I wasn't told- I have to adjust my diet. So salt is the first thing for me. Wow there goes the easiest number 1 food I can eat. Can anyone guess it?
Ya so I've trying to figure out how to work the soup in and what to eat for the other meal. Keeping with 2 a day for now. I'm aiming for 1500 mg for now. Of sodium.
Any suggestions? I have $5 Canadian a day to spend on food. Soup is nearly that now already. Gonna be hard!

I really want to do some exercise even just 15 minutes a day. But of course my body fights me on it. Feet, leg swelling, kidney pain, tired from frequent bathroom trips at night. And I know ppl have posted about sitting down exercise to me but I feel that when I resort to that just shoot me. No offense meant to ppl who do that.
So dancing is out, walking is out, swimming is out cycling is out. All my favs. What's left?

Hi, Blue. I'm glad you managed to get some antibiotics & hope that they help. $5 Can is not much. Do you have a food bank or charity store where you can get low-cost or free food? Can you freeze soups if you can source some low-cost veggies to make them? This article has some useful advice-

Walmart has a large variety of frozen meals @ 2 for $8 & many of these are low in salt.

Any exercise that you can do without pain will help improve your general feeling of well-being. I have done chair exercises when I have been in a lot of pain with my knee/feet & ankles, & it was certainly helpful. Some Tai Chi stretches & exercises would be good I think, especially Qigong. I love it! There are so many YouTube videos for Qigong with limited mobility but I have very limited internet data, & didn't go looking at them, but this website looked helpful. It is aimed at people with more severe disability but it looked helpful to me-

Great suggestions!

2 cups of a homemade slow cooker 'slop'!

Containing ground beef, a can of green peas, a pk of salt reduced taco seasoning mix and a rice side kick and a small can of tomato sauce. I don't even want to know the salt in that. ):
I have to do some work to improve that. Like maybe buy a few things at a time like brown rice and salt free spices and unsalted frozen green peas. At least for a recipe like that.

I looked into the suggestion of a place to buy cheaper foods and there is one that claims to be created with the purpose to be cheaper foods. So I got a ride there and was very disappointed to discover that the claim to be cheaper was false.
Most of the food there was as much as regular stores and a few were higher.
The food banks said they can't give anything special requested by anyone or they would end up having to do that for everyone. I had asked for soup. I'm not sure how soup is special?!
So food helps don't help unless you have money for teeth. Then you can eat most of what they distribute.
I have not explored frozen food options yet.
I have access to freezer space and can make salt free soup when veggies are on sale. They just haven't been for a few years now.

For exercise I still don't know. I just don't want to think that I have to quit or give up on it.
Another issue now is the stains. Ive been on a different one and feel distressed with the muscle side effects. The worst part is I got access to my cholesterol results for the last 2 tests and they are within the normal range!!!
Why am I being pressured, and I am, by my pharmacy and the prescriber, to take them. I mean ok sure so the other issues won't be solved by quitting the stains but even getting rid of one hindrance to exercise is one step closer to starting again.
If I could even do 1 song dancing maybe I wouldn't feel so distressed about it.
Maybe.
But not at this level of reduced muscle usage.

Statins

Trying hard to not use my Senna's too often.
I sometimes need a few but scared I will get the p part of b/p started again

No safe food anymore left. But my shopping has to bring lots of food home. As they are very few. Trips to shop.
It's all spiraled out of control.
Everything.
I'll be a worse fat blob in no time.
I used to purge my apt of all foods to help prevent the Ed's monstrous head.
I live with family now since the bad man died a few years ago. The family I'm with used to live with him.

How can I get the food away from me?

Next week I will need to get food for a month ALL at ONE time. Due to some circumstances I won't say out loud for safety reasons.
How will I make it last that long?

How will I not eat it all?
