Weight-Loss BLS Challenge Eliminated Players 2nd Chance Thread

Weight-Loss
Aw, guys, I'm so frustrated, another week of NO loss!! I just don't get it, not even a measly half lb!!!! And I worked hard most of the week...I exercised 5 days, ate well 6 days....I feel really disheartened, but I'll keep trooping on, hopefully I'll have better results next week! :(

Hey everyone - Im newly eliminated *BLAH* but Im glad I at least made it to the individual phase...there was no way I stood a chance - with no loss the first weeks I had low points... but here I am - opening my eyes to how sodium is in everything...geeesh!!!Here is to a tough week everyone:)

Hi MyOwn,

Hang in there. Maybe it's time to change things up a bit. Do different types of exercise. Change the patterns of your eating. Drink more water. Shake things up. You're doing great even though the scale doesn't show it right now. All of a sudden it will.

Hey gang, just checking in.

Hope everyone is having a more successful time than I am. Hubby and I celebrated our 20th anniversary by going to a B & B in the mountains. We had a wonderful, time ate too much, and exercised little. This culminated a downward trend in my weightloss journey. :(

The good news is that today, I am back on track. I'm still going to try to participate in this challenge, but obviously dont expect spectacular results.

Happy Anniversary! Glad you and your husband had such a wonderful time.

You got right back on track which is great. Any weight that you did put on should come right back off.

Wow, can you believe it's the last week already?

This week's bonus is to set a 1,000 calorie range for the week and eat within it. The minimum range is 9,800-10,800 calories. My range will be 11,550-12550. There is no maximum range. You'll get 20pts for staying within your range. There is a 20-calorie grace in case you are slightly over or under. So if I eat 12,560 calories, I'll still get my pts.

Good luck Everyone! And congrats for sticking to it so far!!!!! :hurray::hurray:

Week 7:

Hi Tammy. No need to repost your stats each week. Just update your first one. When next week is over, I'm just going to go page by page and enter people's pts. If people start having multiple stat posts, it'll make it very confusing. Thanks! :)

Wow. I can't beleive we are coming up to the end of the challenge. What's worse . . I can't beleive how poorly I have done, especially considering how great I did in the halloween challenge. I ahve actually gained weight since starting :cuss: but its my own fault and I have to be accountable.

I will continue thru this challenge, as I am NOT a quitter.

In addition, I have done some real soul searching and have recommited myself to get back on track and do this thing right!

Ty Bikini will do lol I was only doing that so I can find it easier I have 3 challanges and like the Valentines Challange(which is over)it took me forever to find my chart lol sorry girly,So if I dod 1,200 cals a day then I would say 8,400 for the week?????

The minimum range is 9800-10800 calories, so if you do 1200 a day, you'll be under the minimum and won't get any pts. EAT More! :D

I can't believe there are only 2 days left of the challenge! It has gone by pretty quickly.

I'm glad so many of you have really enjoyed it and found it useful. I will be doing another one in early March, and I hope to see you there. This one will start March 7th, and will be modeled after the show the Amazing Race. For those of you outside the U.S. who haven't heard of it, it's a show where teams race around the world, and have to race against each other to get tasks done. If you google the show, you can find out more about it. The teams will have 3 members each, and each week one or more teams (the entire team) may be eliminated. There will be 2 non-elimination weeks, but no one will know (not even me) until the end of that week. The team will work together to get exercise pts and some bonuses will require the entire team to complete it, or just one team member. It should be a lot of fun. Oh, and we're going to make our own teams--they won't be random this time. I'm doing this so that you won't be eliminated due to some newbie signing up and then disappearing. So think carefully when choosing your teammates. It's best to get someone who's either really strong in something you're not, or well-rounded. The team with the most weight loss each week will be safe from elimination regardless of their pts.

I'll post a lot more info and a sign up thread about a week before the challenge starts. I just wanted to give you a heads up. :)

Just a reminder to get your final stats logged in by Midnight EST (GMT -5) tonight. I have already posted the winner of the BLS Challenge on that thread, and I'll post the 2nd chance winner here just after midnight.

Good luck everyone! :)

 KIMBERLY,this was alot of fun and I really feel this challange has helped me lose the most weight in a 8 week period of time,HUGGS and TY
ALSO everyone has done so well and even when eliminated came here and still stuck to it WAY TO GO GANG!!

Sorry everyone, for not having posted the winner. I got home later last night than I planned, and was too tired to add up pts. I'm going to do it right now.

Cita--just post how many minutes you exercised each week and I'll figure your pts out for you. :)

Congratulations to the 4 of you who stayed to the end! The winner is:

1. Niapage--283 **19lbs lost
2. Cinderelly--281.6 **3.6lbs lost
3. Kgirl--277 **11lbs lost
4. Blancita--179.5 **2.5lbs

I thought you all might be interested to know that between the 38 people who started the challenge, we lost a combined total of 236.6lbs! That is only counting what's been reported, so it could possibly be a lot more than that. Regardless, that's really quite a lot of weight--an entire large person or two small people.

Thank you again for participating, and congratulations on all the hard work you've done these last 7 weeks. :grouphug:
