Still been training, had a few days off work so haven't been online. Did sh1t on flat bench on Thursday, only manages 3x5, 2x3 @ 220lbs, don't know what happened there but wasn't good enough.

Pleased with Deadlifting today though, not many problems so thought i'd go a bit heavier.

Deadlifts
2x8 (132lbs)
1x10 (220lbs)
1x5 (286lbs)
1x3 (352lbs)
1x12 (220lbs)

Only problem is grip when i go as heavy as 350lbs. The weight wasn't too much problem for my body, just grip strength i'll need to work on. Might go for 400lbs next week if i feel upto it.

Did some isolation also.

Then went in the MMA gym next door and did 30mins on the bags. Was good, going to start MMA classes as soon as i get paid.

and as for grip.....don't they have some sort of wrist/hand strap thing that you can use when you get to really heavy lifts????

Yea i could use straps but i'd rather work on grip strength without them, since they will take away a lot of the work my hands need to do.
 
Yesterday was upper. Diet has been sh1t the last week. Full of chocolate & crisps, 3 large meals a day. Appauling!

Pay day today :) need to invest in some Whey, gonna have to go cheap since i've got a few debts to pay! It's been the first time in 2 years i've gone without Whey for a month!

Yea it's hard work! 3k a day will be good for someone your size. What sort of weight are you aiming for? Because you don't exactly look fat now, so if you were to get down to my weight (about 220) you'd be ripped as a f**ker!
 
260 at least....240 would be outstanding....220-230 would be boat loads of work and I'd have to fight off all the ladies, the wife would not be happy.

Tuesdays session was lower, not really going to write it down since i had to use the f**king squat machine since the rack was taken all session! One of the MMA trainers was teaching these 2 lads how to properly squat, DL, clean, and some snatches. Think i might pay for a 1on1 session soon actually to learn them properly.

Yesterday was MMA :D loved it, much better than when we went those few times at that other place. It lasted 1.5 hours and i was F**KED! We did all sorts of sh1t, terminology i can't remember for most things. I'm sure ill pick it all up though.

My forearms are f**ked from constantly having to bump out of being pinned down, and constantly getting up and down from the floor. Thinking of doing the boxing class this saturday :D
 
when you do your cable rows, face pulls, and pullups use a towel. Put the towel thru the handle and use the towel to pull with. In a pull up, put two towels over the bar, hold the towels and do your pullups.

at first your hands will cramp, but your grip will get lots better fast!
