Bad training day yesterday, mind wasn't on it and failed!

Squats
Various reps/sets with the bar, kept looking at each other's form and trying different stances etc..

Flat Bench
3x3 (203.5lbs)
2x2 (203.5lbs)

Was supposed to get 5x5 here! I got 13 out of the 25 reps i needed to move up! It was my mind, i just wasn't ready. Next time i expect AT LEAST 20 reps, and no less.

Inverted Rows

Pushups
3xF

With the rows & pushups, it was obvious it was just an off day. I did no where near as many as usual.

Reverse Crunches

Also i might as well add, im cutting down on the carbs. I do eat a lot of carbs as well as my protein. My first step is evenings, all i have now is some meat & veg for my evening meal.

I'm excited about tomorrows session, 5x5 @ 203.5lbs on the flat bench! Will be a big achievement if i manage all 25 reps. Will Tom do it? Tune in Friday to find out! :D:D:D

I lifted earlier this week, but have just been doing HIIT and running along with softball practice the last couple days. I have another practice tonight and then lifting tomorrow. Weight is about 206...

Yup, weight is dropping...it's gonna be nice to bulk again, but also will suck since I will have to pay for more food...it's been nice not eating nearly as much lately.
 
Yesterdays workout was ok. Still practicing squat technique. It's slowly getting there. I think im getting the feeling to drive up with my hips, rather than the knees. Main problem is that lower back still rounds a lot.

I did:

BB Squats (bar only) - various reps & sets
3x5 BB Lunges
5x5 BB OH Press
1x5 DL's
Pullups
Prone Bridges


I will only sometimes put the weight down, can't wait to get all technique right so i can make a more complex routine. I wanna be squatting some poundage!

Also i noticed my Deadlift form, my knees buckle in. Need to sort that sh1t out!

Getting there, was still pleased even though i didn't get all 25. Massive improvement from last time as i got 13 reps in total then, this time i got 21! :D Next time i expect all 25.

Still not there with squatting, i need patience and it will come. Also need to keep up my stretching etc.
 
Hmmm, maybe you should take up yoga to get some better flexibility for squatting. :D Ahh well, better to take it slow and not do something crazy and hurt yourself.

Bet your starting to look lean? Im still at 219lbs, been at that point for months! I'm not really focusing on losing too much ATM. I do want to slowly become more lean, but i really wanna increase lifts!
 
Meh, lean in a lot of areas yeah. But naturally the place I want it gone the most is still doughy as ****. Haha, damn stomach is always the last to go. I'm gonna keep going for awhile...when I'm ready to up my eating I will, so I can re-up on the gains. I hear ya though, increasing the lifts, that is some satisfying ****!

Ran around 5km last night.

Also, since back squats are basically crippling me ATM lol, i've gone back to my 4day split routine, training for hypertrophy.

I've also realised, it's size i do want ATM since i like to pose and look good for the bitches when i go out ;)

Tonight will be back and abs.
