Hahaha, that's funny. Yeah man, lunges will make ya walk like you got ass raped, they destroy the glutes. It doesn't tear me up too bad because I do all kinds of lunge variations, but they are wicked and fun.

Iv been lazy with posting. Erm...... Saturday i ran to the gym, did a few bits, more of a FBW, and then we ran back. Its almost 2 miles to the gym, i was f**ked!

Ran about 2 miles on Sunday.

Yesterday had a short but sweet workout, primarly shoulders:

Seated Single DB Press
1x10 (55lbs)
1x6 (71.5lbs) -4 with right arm, 3 with left.
1x8 (60.5lbs)

Well have never lifted 71.5lb DBs above my head so i suppose thats a good thing.

Clean & Push Press
1x5 (88lbs)
1x5 (132lbs)
1x5 (154lbs)
1x3 (176lbs)

Pleased with the 176!

Lateral Raises
1x10 (15lbs)
2x8 (20lbs)

Machine Curls

Dude, way to go on the clean and push press...that's pretty freakin sweet...I doubt I could clean 176 lbs, but maybe...I sure as hell couldn't press it. Good stuff.

Yesterday I just ran 4+ miles, nothing major. Today going to lift and run/swim.

Dont underestimate yourself im telling you. Id of never thought i could get 176 above my head x3, but with leg drive its not half as bad as you think! Now im setting targets like 220 clean & push press which i would be really happy about.
 
We need my legs and your arms I think, 176x3 is pretty cool

First ever time doing these, went below paralell and just kept it light. Holding the bar was the biggest problem.

Whilst im bored at work, might as well chat some sh1t. My current state is:

Oh and iv just bought some pine nuts and realised that i dont even like them.

Another thing is my mate is going to do a course of Prohormones. A product by LG he's going to be using. I think if he's going to use that he might as well go on the real gear, or just not at all.

Possible side affects are just the same, im interested though to see how they affect him. ATM im stronger & bigger than him but ill let this thread know how (if) he changes.
 
Well yesterdays session was sh1t. I was really pissed off. Worked Chest/Tri's and lifted well below par.

An example was flat DB Presing, my first set is usuallly 1x10 @ 154lbs and usually i get this comfortably. Yesterday i only just managed 9.

Also Incline BB Press, after the flat pressing i usually get 1x10 @ 143lbs easily. I GOT F**KING 8!

It was similar last week as well but not quite as bad as yesterday.

Im thinking reasons could be, low cals and/or lack of sleep. I mean iv been getting like 6-7 hours lately, i no that probably sounds ok to most people but i reckon getting 7-8 hours a night would really help me.

2-3 weeks ago, over the holidays i got like 8 hours sleep and i was getting a few reps with 44kg dumbells, yesterday i couldnt get 1 rep with 42kg dumbells..

Haha, don't like the pine nuts eh? I think they are good, BUT I've never eaten em straight up...they are good in a big ass caesar salad or something.

Meh, don't beat yourself up man, you know how this **** goes. Sometimes a crappy lifting day happens. And hell, that's not even bad, just a little slip up. Don't sweat it.

Yeah, I've done it a few times. I just figure now, while cutting, might as well keep reps to 4-6. Do you reckon I should mix them in?

I just mentioned it out of curiosity; doing them helped my get over a plateau in the past so I was thinking that if you’re sticking to a low rep range all the time like I was then some high rep blasts of 3x20 for a few weeks might kick start progress again
 
I think you start with your 10rm marko, so you can imagine how hard they are. You can rest all you want as long as the bar is still on your shoulders and you make it to 20!
