Big T & MMW: To Keep Lean & Stay Mean ;)

Nice, that does sound like a fun car. I miss my Lincoln Mark VII too, no one ever knew what the hell it was, especially didn't know that it had the 5.0L. I had mine worked up nicely, Trick Flow heads, opened up intake, 1.7 RRs, it could haul ass, and had all the creature comforts of a Lincoln.

I hadn't seen this journal until today.

You two seem very similar.

I would have modified the title a little for Tom's sake:

MMW & Big T: To Keep Lean & Stay Clean ;)

haha

Good luck, slackers.

Hahaha, snap! Well, we're both similar in that regard too. I had way too much bourbon while canoeing last weekend and bad things happened...but I recovered ok!

Thanks for stopping in our funhouse...:D

Focus, I swear to god, if you come up with another "your Mom"'s joke I will label you as an old fart in his mid age crisis who is attempting to humor the younger crowd.

That's what your Mom said anyway...

;)

Anyways, I think I'll start doing BB lunges/split squats too...I got really good at those last bulk...I was doing my last 5 rep set with 205 pounds...could also squat about that amount too, which obviously is no more...

Looks like fun though. Did you start out doing cleans, or did you work your way up to them by practicing the separate motions and then putting it all together?

Also, re: the leg stuff, consider step-ups? Afaict, they are doing great things for all my other lower body lifts and my jumps. An EROM step-up is a lot like a split squat, just easier to balance, imo. I recently figured out how to almost entirely isolate the lifting leg, and I really like it. :) But, you'd need a box or something, and I can't recall what all you have for equipment at the moment.

Cleans are fun, I just want to start throwin around more damn weight, haha. I started by doing the seperate motions, but only for awhile. Just got a feel for the parts, then went and tried combining, and it worked out well. I sometimes watch vids on form before doing them just so I know what things to focus on when I do em. 145 is pretty gay, I just want to get better.

Ya know, I haven't ever really done step ups. I should prolly consider them a good choice at some point. I go to a pretty well equip gym, so I could definitely make those work. I like to milk my lifts as long as possible before switching up, but I will try to make those happen. Thanks for the suggestion!
