To save some explaining...

She says my knees are fine, the problem was coming from my lower quads. Shes done a bit of massaging which i enjoyed :D

She recommended taking Ibuprofen for a week as it also reduces inflammatory in tendons etc.

Other things like warming up properly and splitting my leg routine up for now were advised.

Im also wondering if im going the correct way about my sets as i start off with the heaviest and get lighter. Where as i know most people start lighter and add weight. Iv already said it to my mate that we'll try the other way as i think it warms you up as you go along so your prepared for the heaviest set.

I feel it on my joints starting with the heaviest set also, its like a shock to my body as if its not warmed up or ready for it.

Yea im going to try it anyway. Its easier to go heavier each set with the 5x5 style of training rather than my 3 sets plus negatives as its just going to kill me!

Yeah man, give it a shot, it's good stuff...you will find that it really doesn't zap you, and you should still be able to get up your best presses/pulls.

Okay, I did good yesterday, not really advancing though...and weight is up to 220, but strength didn't go up with the last 5 pounds...starting to get to the breaking point where I wanna shed this nasty ass blubber.

Shouldn't have even tried the 115, it wasn't good. The 4 I got weren't pulled all the way in.

Nothing special, I broke new ground on the Split Squats, never gone that high, so that's nice.

Then it was time to go for physio so thats all i got done. Tonight im going to try train the legs (scared). Go with light squatting and good warming up.

Iv noticed your OH Pressing weight is very different compared to your Chest pressing!

Also 220!!!! You put on weight fast! your only 7lb lighter than me. LOL
 
Nice little bit of pressing you got in there. Good job on 6 reps at 176!

Yeah man, you are so right about my OH pressing being different from chest pressing. I have made huge gains on my chest pressing, going from like 120 lbs for 5 reps on inc. DB to 150 for 5 reps...yet my OH pressing has pretty much stayed at 5 reps for 115...sucks ass.

Haha, yeah man, I can hardly believe I weight 220, it honestly doesn't even feel like it. I don't even feel like I look bigger. I do know I did my damnest to keep fat gain down, but my gut still got a little chunkier...haha. I would like to think I'll stick it out and get up to 230, but only if the gains start back up...I haven't gotten anywhere the last couple weeks.

Omit the alcohol calories, and viola!........:)

Lets see, he, he......

If you consume 1,000 calories in alcohol on Friday, and eliminate it, but keep activities the same......this is 4,000 calories per month net savings.

Which means less alcohol on the lips removes fat on the hips.....

Well i am back to being happy (ish) :D My only slight complaint is my back but that doesnt bother me half as much as my knees did!

So yea i trained legs yesterday without any problems :):):) I did go light with the squats though just to be safe. And i mean LIGHTTTTTTT. Also i warmed up better.

Session Included: Legs

Warmup was 5 minutes on the bike.

Felt decent.

Seated Leg Press

Again felt good, and was easy.

Also ill add, while i was there i thought id just bang a couple of pullups out. I got 4 straight off. And reckon i could of got another 1!!!! Thats good for me :D

I wont be at MMA this Sunday as its my mates bday Sat night and were going out. So im staying in tonight and going to train tomorrow. But to make up for not going to MMA im going next Friday and Sunday.

Me dressed as a pirate at work is exactly what I'm doing, and it's great, yelling "ahoy", "all hands on the poop deck", and "throw em in brig!" I will surely drink enough for you and me tonight matey, and hopefully I will not be scourged by a scallywag.

But yea, I think I will try a max lift soon. I don't know if I could quite get 225, but I shall try soon enough.

This is done on the cables with a straight bar, arms straight in front and pushing the weight down. Didnt know the technical term for it :D

Was weaker on this today. Needed spotting on last 2 sets.

Dips
Did a few sets throughout the workout, my shoulders didnt feel very flexible though and it was hard to do them..
 
Todays workout was my 5th workout of the week so it was more of a FBW! I think i was worn out from the week, i was a lot weaker but got it done.

I think theyre called back extensions. Its like a station where you do sort of 'reverse situps' and targets the lower back. Felt good.

Just to update, im not feeling so good. Can see the man flu coming on. Feeling weak, lost my appetite, feeling sick, and temperature is going a bit funny.

Hope it doesnt last too long. Dont wanna be at work at all today.

Bummer to hear about the sickness, but everybody's time comes eventually. I'm lucky; I haven't gotten sick in quite awhile...just gotta get your rest and take care of yourself man.
