Been ill this weekend :( Although i did force myself a workout on Saturday! But no chance of doing MMA on sunday and im also not at work today!

I did ring the bloke who runs the MMA and he was telling me about it though. He was telling me all this sh1t that i didnt have a clue about, and he says he's got some tyres and everything in there. Does all styles of training. He's going to be there at 10am Sunday so it should be good.

Yup, 20 lbs is right! It's funny though, I don't feel like I put on that much. It might just be hard for me to critique myself, but I really don't feel bigger anywhere...least not much.

Ohhh snap, posting up some pics???? Hmmm, I could get down with that...might have to wait till I hit 220 or 225!

Man, it's like you aren't meant to do that MMA. Sorry to hear about the sickness, that always sucks, but ya know it happens, just gotta deal and get better. I am still on the fence...been waking up with a sore throat, I think I'm gonna wake up soon with a full blown cold.

So I was doing deadlifts and a trainer came up and said he thought I should be a little wary, some rounding going on. It was my heaviest set, 285 for 8 reps, so I'm not surprised. I guess I should buckle down and make sure I'm dropping my butt and getting my back perfectly straight.

I wont be doing DL's for a month or so i dont think, i wanna be confident my back is in good condition. Although i think ill be squatting soon :D

Tonight i train on my own, so im going to try BB mili press, and see what i can get out. I maybe disappointed, i maybe suprised!

BigT, you taking up MMA training eh? I wanna hear more about this, I have been interested in this for quite a bit now.

Have you seen videos from Ross Training? It's typical MMA training and it's pretty bad ass. I bought all their videos, shirts and even their damn hats even though I don't wear any...anyhow the videos are pretty amazing...worth a look.

Anywho, take care of that back, I screwed mine up a few weeks ago with a DL and had to take a week off :( I hate when that happens.

Yeah I was lovin it...but keep in mind that 195 x 4 was on the decline, which is slightly easier to move more weight.

Get your back healthy, time off from DLs doesn't mean you can't get in plenty of other good work!

Haha, I can only hope, you move some wicked weight on the bench. My numbers have gotten better over time, but still need some serious boosts! I just hope I can keep bulking to like 225 before I become Fatface McGee.
 
I wanna go lift again today...at least to do some walking lunges, pullups, dips...I made a thread in the weight training section, check it out and lemme know what yall think.

I find my lifts start to suffer and my endurance drops off if I lift too many days in a row.

Is that so? Dang. I just love lifting so damn much, I hate the days that I don't get to do. :yelrotflmao: I guess I could try for awhile and if it feels like I'm stalling out or going backwards I could slow it up...

yeah I noticed that if I lift monday and wednesday, run and do pull ups tuesday and thursday my pull up numbers hurt by thursday. Then by saturday when I take fridays off I'm right back to where I started.

same thing goes for wednesdays lifting session. My endurance is crap. Now that I haven't done the pull ups due to crap weather my lifts are strong all week.

I'm rambling a bit but I think you get the point.

Haha, yeah you better get a little something...and I tend to agree that you wouldn't want to get drunk with guns...doesn't sound like it would end well.
