Hehe. That's too funny. Steak "spice" does seem a little better. I was thinking you were putting some A-1 steak sauce on it. lol I've never had the spice, I'll have to check that out.

Hehe, I was just kidding about the escalator climbing, but I did spend a good half hour with a 10lb backpack on while window shopping!

Cassie: My swedish teacher is very laid back, she basically says that as long as the assignments are in by the end of term, they get full marks - which means that at least half the class have handed in half their assignments in the last week :p So yeah, it kind of is her own fault, but that doesn't mean she can't whine about it a little. She's a great teacher so we let her get away with it ;) I'm gonna miss her, if I could have fit it into my schedule I would have taken the next level too.

WOO HOO SCHOOL'S DONE! Well, sort of, anyways. Got my first exam next week (and I have to get my oral recording done before then too), and then two the week after, then a week break, and then my spring semester starts. But I have three weeks of some good old fashioned educational slacking :D
 
Okay, business post now :p

Yesterday didn't go quite as planned - I had a caesar salad after my tuna sandwich and skipped out on the thin crust pizza because I couldn't go to the gym! Well I could have, but I lost my lock somewhere, and I wasn't about to leave Josh's laptop in an open locker for an hour! So we walked home, and just hung out for the night.

But we made up for it today, after the only class I really had to go to today (because I had part of the final to do), I bought *two* locks so that Josh can lock up his own stuff, and we got in a good 50 minutes of cardio plus about 15 of stretching. I gotta say, my favourite part is the stretching after getting my heart going like that. I can bend a bit further and it just feels so GOOD! I did a little mini-meditating for a couple minutes (not really meditating, just sitting quietly with my back straight to kind of "center" myself) too.

Food So Far:
- multi-grain bagel with 1 folded egg and cheese - 400
- small veggie sub on brown with ranch dressing - 350
- 30 oz water

Planned Food:
- orange - 75
- not sure what's for dinner yet! I'll try and keep it around 500 though
- at least 50 oz more water

Estimated Total: 1325
 
So dinner was about 1 cup of rice, a chicken breast, and some veggies, so probably closer to about 350 calories all together.

I'm also currently making a new workout schedule for myself for once my spring term starts, because if I don't have a "set" time to workout, I probably won't >< I think this one will be easier to stick to than the last one because I'm scheduling the workout right next to other things so that I'm already moving about anyways so I don't go "waaaah, but I don't want to get off my fat bum!! It's comfy!!" because sometimes I do :p

thanks guys for the support! What I've tentatively got (and I'm telling you guys so I don't have an excuse if I don't!) is M-W-F at about 10:30am I'll do the 20 minute Ab Jam on my own at home, and then T-Th-Su at 2:30 I'll be going to the gym with Josh for an hour of cardio! Though, for a couple of weeks we can't go right before work on T-Th, so we'll go after work for that period, which would mean we're there 11pm-midnight. I don't really like going as much at night as I thought I would, because then I get really hungry after burning up such an appetite, and its just a bad idea to eat that late!

We won't be going to the gym today though because we just went yesterday and we're both a little sore from it, so we'll go tomorrow instead.
 
Food For Today:

- can of ravioli (sorry!) and flax toast - 700
- broccoli "soup at hand" - 130
Total: 1130

Okay so I had a really bad lunch, but on the plus side I had a really little dinner so I should be okay!

when I weighed myself this morning, I was 186 lbs!! Up two from the beginning of the week, which I think was at least partially lash-back from going without carbs for so long and then taking in too much so soon. I've definitely been eating better carbs, but I probably should have taken it slower. Hopefully I can bring it back down by next monday but I'm not very optimistic about it. :(

Mornin' Beagle! Well, lookin' at your food yesterday I see MOSTLY carbs...where was your protein??? Better carbs they may be but you need protein more :D Okay, nagging done :p

Don't worry about the two pounds. Drink your water and exercise as much as you are able :D

You can do it Bailey! I'm not sure how many carbs you're suppose to have on the Southbeach Diet but I know on the Medifast they tell us to stay between 80-86 grams. You come this far getting those 2 off is going to be no problem. Think positive!!!
 
I think you guys are right, 100%, I kind of gave myself an inch and took a mile :( Wish I had read in here earlier or I would have changed my foods. Will definitely do so tomorrow!

Food So Far:
- 2 scrabled eggs w/cheese - 300
- 3 slices thin crust cheese pizza - 300
- cup of fat free cottage cheese - 150
- handful of grapes - 100

Planned Food:
- not sure what's for dinner but if its anything pasta-y, I'll just make a tuna salad - 300-500

Estimated total: 1350

Exercise:
- 15 minutes walking to the mall (stupid holiday bus service!)
- 30 minutes treadmill (first 15 minutes was 2 mins running and 3 mins walking in reps, second 15 was speed walking)
- 15 minutes eliptical
- 10 minutes stretching (5 mins before the treadmill, 5 mins after the eliptical)
 
Food looks a LITTLE better today :D Great job on the exercise today! :D I had tuna salad for dinner too but I make mine with mustard, relish and hot sauce (kinda sweet and spicy) :D Don't curl your nose!!!!! LOL I heard it scrunching way down here!!!! LOL Keep up the great work Bailey! :D
 
my tuna didn't even turn out that good. Usually I make it with mayo and a few spices, but I accidentally put garlic powder in when I meant onion powder (they look very similar!) - YUCK! I still ate it all, but I definitely didn't enjoy it!
 
Sorry you didn't like your tuna, Bailey. Thats such a bummer when you dont get what you expect when you pop it into your mouth! LOL Been there and done that too many times! LOL Hope you have a great day and ENJOY everything you choose today :D
 
Today seems to be much better :) I had my carbs early on, because I was rushed for breakfast and grabbed a bagel - 350. Josh brought me lunch and a snack, which was very nice because I forgot that too! A small container of honeydew (100), and about three cups of greek salad (250), mmm!

I'm hoping to convince my mom to make steaks for dinner tonight, because she makes the best steaks ever! Steaks 'n' veggies sounds great :D
