Usually I just have two or three at a time that I make sure to keep up on, I don't think its POSSIBLE to read through all of the journals on here and keep up! I think my head would explode from the effort of trying to keep it all straight in my head :p
 
Mornin' Bailey :D Heck, I can't keep journals straight in my head if I tried! I cheat :D I have a little book that I write all the journals that I stop at in. Then I write next to the name what days I stopped in :rolleyes: hey, I dont' wanna leave anybody out and there are around 15 that I visit regularly so that good ol' pen and paper come in handy! LOL

I hear ya on lack of sleep! BEElieve you me! I wanted to sleep in today and only made it to 530 :rolleyes: some sleepin' in! yeesh!! I will probably take a nap during the day today, but it depends on how much I get done before hand....

I hope you lose that 3! :D I won't mention the food "prize" but you do deserve one :D :D I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya - What day is your weigh in??? I may have to glue them together if its too far away :p:D hehehehe

Yeah I know its a bad prize but between the diet and the stress I want to justify earning it :p It was either ice cream or chinese food, and the ice cream comes in a smaller portion and will be easier to make up for I think.

I think today was the worst day to not bring homework to work :p usually we have a jam-packed queue for calls one after the other and its useless to try and get anything but work done, but today it is practically dead in here, with a good 5 mintues between calls, and I didn't bring anything! I think I'll just go and pick up one of those trashy gossip magazines to read between. Don't tell anyone, but I love reading that stuff, even though I supposedly should be smarter than that ;)

I did another sneak-weigh this morning, and I'm back up to where I started this week :( Gonna have to be extra super good the next couple of days to make my goal!
 
LOL, you're too funny Beagle. I love trash talking mag's. I have a stack of them. I'm always learing at them in the stores too. I especially like the ones with "stars without makeup", "best and worst beach bodies," "deadly diets" and so on. I guess it makes me feel better about myself in some way? Heck, I don't know, but it is entertaining, that's for sure.

You can meet your goal!! Keep your eye on the prize. hehe
 
There's been a lot of pregnancy stories in the mags lately since there are now four or five big names that are preggers (Angelina, Brittney, Katie... uh, I forgot the rest :p). The one I'm reading now has stuff like "do they look better or worse now?" and articles on how stars decorate their houses and such.

Oh yeah, I just remembered, I got a semi-promotion at work! Most of the time I'll be doing my job just the same, but I'll be playing back up for the support reps whenever they're shorthanded. I would be a full support rep myself if I were working full time, but I'm not. I don't mind though, a change of pace, even sometimes will be nice.

Food so far:
2 scrambled eggs
small (approx 2 cups) caesar salad

when I get home from work, I'd like to fry up another fish fillet, I really love those, and I'm getting better at making them too!

I did get the fillet, and just for a change of pace, I spiced it with steak spice! Whoo, it had some kick to it I tell you! It was good though, I liked it :D Kinda tasted like a steak without all the fat.

Then the rest of the night didn't go so well. While taking a break 3 hours into my homework fest, my brother thought he'd be nice and offer some of his giant bag of Dorritos he was eating with a friend while they watched movies... first I had one, then another, and then somehow I managed to wolf down two big handfuls of chips in like fifteen minutes :(

When I weighed myself this morning, I was still at 185, so no harm done, but now I have to wonder, where would I have been if I just said no?

So today I start anew, and I'm having a handful of nuts for breakfast. I'm going out with my friend in about fifteen minutes - I was supposed to help her move today but she finished yesterday morning, so we're just gonna chill out. She's also trying to lose weight (her wedding is in June), so I don't think I'm at much risk of having anything bad, because she understands.
 
So we went shopping and got the last bride's maid (her fiance's sister) dress - it is pretty funky looking, in the good way, but the bm is a funky kind of girl so it suits her well :D All three of us are wearing light-fabric, knee-length black dresses, but we all have slightly different styles. The Bridal Gown is pretty awesome too, satiny with black vinery embroidered all the way up the skirt. Definitely not a dress I could pull off, but my friend does it easily!

And now all I can think of is my own wedding and how much stuff I have to plan! Bad Beagle, do your homework first, and THEN you can book venues and such!

heh, anyways, food. I've already gone through like 30oz of water today, and just had a pretty filling tuna salad for lunch. I've got just a little bit of nuts left in the bag so I guess I'll have those later, and then bake myself some chicken strips for dinner with some broccoli on the side! Going grocery shopping in a couple of hours, but my mom told me that berries aren't in season yet, so they're pretty expensive :( I may have to make due with apples and oranges for a couple of weeks I guess! Also on my list is flax bread, brown rice, and possibly whole wheat pasta, though I'm not sure about the last one.

For now though, I'm going to have a nap, I am so tired.

- total 1 cup mixed nuts
- tuna salad (1 can drained tuna, fat free mayo, lettuce, pepper and onion powder)
- multigrain bagel
- whole grain & honey granola bar
- approx 50oz water

still working on my homework, and I am amazing myself with the number of things that I can do that is not homework but is much more interesting. Like watching TV shows I don't like, and shopping for online (but aren't those just AWESOME?)
 
Hey girly..you're doing great. :) Keep up the good work!! And enjoy being the bridesmaid for now and not dealing with the bridal hassles just yet. :D Trust me.. they're fun but a lot of work too!!
 
Phase II of the South Beach Diet is much more moderate, but still a little restrictive. I am not to be concerned with the the carb count on the nutritional label, but rather just to think about whether its good carbs or bad carbs. Bad ones are from processed foods or have a very low fibre content. Good carbs can be found in fruit and grain-based foods that have as much of the original grain intact, though ones that are high in fibre will also suffice since the fibre slows down the digestion process. I am to stay on this phase until I reach my goal weight, and if I stick to it well should continue to lose 1-2 lbs a week.

Weigh-in: 184.4 Yuss, ice cream, here I come! (just a little one though!)
Total 7cm lost, mostly off my chest and belly - they are at the same measurement now, so hopefully my breasts will be bigger than my belly very soon!

Stupid public computer logged me out while I was typing this great long post, and I lost it! Let's try again.

- 16 oz fruit'n'berry smoothie - 250
- 25 oz water

Planned food:
- (after school snack) tuna sandwich on flax bread - 350
- (dinner) whole grain spaghetti w/butter, seasoning salt, and real parmesian cheese - 400
- at least 50 oz more water!

Estimated total: 1200

Thoughts for the Day: I've decided I'm going to pass on the ice cream to treat myself for a loss. I need to get out of the mentality that food is to be used for prizes. I remembered yesterday after that post that I had promised myself a new bra after 190lbs, and new underwear after 185, and I haven't gotten either of those yet! So once I'm done here, I'm heading to the mall and getting a saucy matching set - I'm sure Josh would like it much better than me having an ice cream, too!

After having the smoothie, I reread my SB purse book, and found that whenever possible, smoothies and juice should be avoided, even if they're from real fruit, because they're basically predigested and all the sugar goes right to your bloodstream and spikes the levels (and then crashes them later too!). So I'll skip the smoothies and just have whole fruit.

Aw shoot, I forgot the other point I was going to make here, because I know I had three! Bah, I'm sure I'll remember when I'm on the bus :p

Edit: I remembered! I wanted to say that I miss my Turbo Jams, I haven't done any for like two weeks! I was using my 1 hour twice a week at the gym as an excuse to not work out the rest of the week. That and I've been so hectic during that time I don't think I could have fit it in. So, my new promise to myself is that once this week is over and I don't have nearly as much on my plate I'm going to do 3 Turbo Jams a week! I don't need to really do the cardio ones as I've got that covered at the gym, but I think I'll focus on the Ab Jam to get my core really toned!

Oh you bet your horses I got cute underwear! They had a 2-for-1 sale, so I got TWO matching bra-and-panty sets! So cute!

Anyways once I got home I was reminded we're having a BBQ tonight, and I just can't resist that! So, to minimize the impact, I replaced my tuna sandwich with just a peice of bread and butter to hold me over (150 instead of 350), I'm going to have my burgers with just lite mayo and onions on it, which is really tasty too and a fraction of the cals that piling on all the fixin's would have (ketchup, pickles, etc), and I'll also pop a couple fibre pills right before dinner to help slow down the digestion so that I get the most out of them. I should still be okay :)
 
Hey Beagle! I had to get caught up with your dairy just now. I didn't know Britney was pregnant again! That poor girl. What is she thinking?

Congrats on the semi-promotion at work, good for you. It's nice to get recognition once in a while for a job well done.

You put steak sauce on fish? Now that is interesting. What kind of steaksauce and what kind of fish? I might have to try that. Sounds yum.

Good job buying yourself undergarments instead of ice cream and congrats on the loss. I love new bras. I recently had to throw all of mine out, the wires were stabbing me. Probably because I sleep in them too. I'm trying to fight gravity.

How did the BBQ turn out? Ah, I miss me some good juicy burgers fresh off the grill. Have a good one!
 
No no, not steak sauce on the fish, steak SPICE! I don't know what all is in it, but its very peppery, but not just pepper.

BBQ was pretty good, but I ate more than I expected. Well no, I ate as much as I expected to but was a lot more full than I expected to be. I kind of feel sick now :( Had 2 burgers because they looked kind of little, but they were all meat!

Thoughts: I think I gave my swedish a heart attack today, along with about five other students; we each handed in 2-5 assignments each, and she's already backed up on marking stuff! I kind of feel bad, but its not like I can afford to take 0's on them.

I don't work for another 2 and a half hours, and I've got nuthin' to do! I think I'll just stroll around the mall and at least get some walking in before work :) Hah, maybe I'll try walking up the down escalator for a good while, it'll be like a stairmaster! I bet security would love that ;)

LMAO!! How did the escalator walking go?? Did you get booted by security?? LOL

Wasn't able to pop in last couplea days - sorry :( If your swedish teacher is behind on grading maybe she could just give you all B's on what she hasn't graded! I mean, if you don't hand it in or are late, you get a penalty - shouldn't that be HER penalty? Too just pop on a decent grade even thought its late??? Its not like she'll get yelled at for being behind in grading- she may aswell pass on the good fortune :D (A's are a reach if its late ;) )
