You know what's great? spontaneous nose bleeds. On my very nice shirt that Josh's mom gave me. Right before my longest class. In a room too hot to wear my jacket. :mad:

Don't worry, I'm fine, I just wish I'd had some notice that my face was going to start dripping so I could have gone to the bathroom before it started, or before it got so bad.

Also, I seem to have the worst luck when it comes to shirts Josh's mom gives me. One I washed wrong and shunk to the size of a 6 year old's shirt, two I somehow bleach stained (though I'm convinced that something was wrong with the washer because my clothes weren't the only ones affected), and now I've bloodied one. I'm going to try salvaging it when I get home with a cold wash, but its just going to sit for about three hours until I can finish this class and get home.
 
Oh my! I'm so sorry! I used to have those a lot when I was little. It finally stopped. I don't really know why, but I was grateful.
 
no worries, it was more embarrasing than anything. Thank god I didn't bleed on the school computer equipment. They might've made me pay for it :p

So after my last class I was feeling really gross, because nose bleeds always make me nauseaus even a few hours later. I made a not-very-good decision and got some teriyaki chicken and rice from a japanese place in the mall. I'm pretty sure it took up the whole 600 calories I had left, and probably at least another 100. :( And now three hours later, I'm hungry again and have no more calories left. Serves me right I guess.
 
I have never had a nosebleed...I was the fortunate one out of our family...sorry to hear about your bad day at class. heres to hope that you will have a good rest of the week! :)
 
Hey Bailey.. sorry to hear about class yestarday, I'm having a crappy day too and it's only 8! Blah... anyways cheer up, hope you are feeling better today and I hope that stain came out... if it didn't we could just make it a new style! You know ... 'the bloodstain' - everyone will love it... it'll catch on fast! BUT only on shirts.. haha! :)

Good morning! Today is a new start, and I am feeling much better. I started off with a bowl of rice krispie squares with a banana chopped in, about 250 cals. I wanted to make some scrambled egg whites, but my beaters went bad, and I really don't like having to seperate whole eggs because I always get them all over my hands!

I should confess, last night I didn't do my workout, I just plain forgot about it while doing my homework. Also, even though I was already at or over my limit for the day by my last post, I went out and bought a frozen yogurt cup which was another 250. I think I'll make up for that by adding the 250 to my calories for today - kind of like the calorie bank, but more of a calorie advance. However I don't want to do this all the time.

That means I'm at 500 calories for today. For lunch at school I'll get a veggie sub, 300, and then pick up some lean cuisines at work, another 200 or so. That'll take me to 1000, and I still have that last michelina's in my freezer to take me to 1300. Okay, I can do this today :)
 
That's hilarious - a calorie advance... from the calorie bank! Can you make loans? Pay them back in small amounts over a long period of time? :)
 
Isn't that what a diet is? Trying to pay back all the extra calories you've eaten over the years to gain the weight in the first place?

Oh man, now we're getting deep into the metaphors, my head is starting to hurt! :D
 
Holy mother of mercy I want a box of Smarties!! I've been craving them all night, and want them so badly... I haven't given in yet though! I may just have to make room for them tomorrow and have another tiny lunch and dinner. Does anyone know how many calories are in a box? They're in a vending machine so I really can't find out without buying them (and the jingling change in my pocket is burning a hole too!)

Breath, Bailey.... its only chocolate. You don't even like chocolate that much, right? RIGHT??!
 
there's more calories than it's worth!!! Trust me - by the time you're through the box you'll be surprised how much it is... I'll go check
EDIT - Smarties 4 rolls (1 oz) Cals 100 CArbs 25 Fat0 ... that can't be right...
Where can you get a decent calorie counter?

Okay I peeked really closely at the vending machine box - its 56 grams. And then I went to - it tells me that a box is 256 calories - but I have to click Grams from the drop down and enter in 56, it doesn't have it premeasured.. That's about what I was expecting :(
 
smarties are milk chocolate coated in candy! They are delicious in every way *drool* I'm not having them today though because Josh and I are going out for lunch so that's going to take up a good portion of my calories today. I haven't eatten yet in planning, I am so hungry! (also we were supposed to go out for brunch but had a bunch of things thrown in our way so we haven't had time to yet, and won't be leaving for at least another hour)

Oh yeah I just remembered - last night I did the 45 minute Cardio Party on Turbo Jam! I made it through the whole 45 but I had to weak-sauce it for a few parts because I was getting way tired, but then I'd get a new wind! Also some of the moves were absurdly complex and I couldn't get them down until that set was done. I'll have to practice more!
 
LOL Bailey great job on the no smarties and gettin' in the Jam! :D "weak sauce" some parts did ya?! LOL Thats too funny :D Don't ya hate it when you finally get the hang of something only to discover that now its over???? Man, it bugs me! :rolleyes: LOL Hope you are having a great rest of the day and keep up that hard work :D

So lunch was delicious, and its a good thing we didn't go earlier as planned because I only have room for a tiny dinner now!

2 slices french toast (with margarine and a sprinkling of icing sugar, no syrup) - 400
2 links sausage - 175
2 strips bacon - 100
Half of a plate of cheesy fries - 400
Total: 1075

Holy damn that is a lot of calories. Though, I ate like four hours ago, and I STILL feel full. IF I have anything else today, I don't think it'll be until at least 8pm. That last michelina's I've been wanting all week is still in the freezer!

Which reminds me, Sunday I have to remember to go South Beach grocery shopping! I will be on a minimal-carb diet for two weeks, and then I will try my very very best to only eat "good" carbs!
 
mornin' Bailey :D You can do it! SB sounds pretty reasonable (better than some others out there, IMO) since you don't avoid anything, really. But no more cheesy fries, huh?? LOL :D Have a great day. Keep up the good work :D
 
yeah, I really shouldn't have gone for the cheesy fries. But I didn't really eat for the rest of the whole night except for a frozen yougurt cup that was about 250 calories.

Today's plan: stopping for breakfast on the way to work, probably getting a BLT bagel (450 cals). I'll probably buy a lean cuisine for lunch (300 max), and I have no clue what we'll be having for dinner tonight.

Heh, I *wish* today's plan included sleeping later by about 3 or 4 hours. I was up until like 3am last night working on my swedish project. On the plus side, I got almost all the work done on it. Just need to go through and proof read it for grammar and such, and write out my little pre-speech which is much more flexible. It was so dumb, I felt like I didn't sleep at all between when I laid down and when my alarm went off. Must have laid into a time warp or something but I swear I was only asleep maybe 5 minutes.:p
