Beagle's New Journal

The windows I have no doubt I'll have fun on! As far as exercising goes, I do my best to have fun on those too :D I don't actually go to the gym though, Tempest and Elizab3th, I workout to DVDs in the privacy of my own home... I probably wouldn't workout at all if I knew others could see me bouncing around like a fool (because I will admit I look foolish while doing the workouts) :p

Today's plan: had an orange for breakfast (75), and will try and get one of those smoothies in again at school (250). After school I have to stop at the doctor's to get my birth control shot, and then am going shopping for a number of things: restocking on paints and getting better quality brushes, and just a bunch of other stuff I haven't had the cashflow to get, but now I do because of the tuition reimbursement through work. I'll probably stop at the subway that's in the same shopping center, maybe get a small pizza sub (400). That'll take me to 725, and I'll have up to 550 cals for dinner, whatever that may be :)

I Am So Proud Of You Girlfriend You Are Doing So Good Keep Up The Great Work And You Can Do 2 More Excercise Days I Know It!

No - you're not on depo provera? First of all - it makes you gain weight! Ahhhh... I hope you're not, it, ummm... dissapointed me when I was on it.
Anyways - hope you have a good day and night and all that jazz.
TGIF! I can't believe it is the weekend already!

I've been on it for almost three years, I didn't get this fat ass until like a year after a started. Deop *can* cause weightloss, and *can* cause moodiness and *can* cause other stuff, but I've either lucked out and missed all of them, or their so mild I haven't noticed. I really like depo, it just works best for me. No mess no fuss no forgetting :)

Oh yeah I forgot to say, I picked up a huge basketful of Michaelina's version of Lean Cuisine. They were like a dollar less each, and looked yummier, so there really wasn't much debate :p Assuming I have one a day, they'll last me almost two weeks! Also got some more egg beaters and fat free cottage cheese. Mmmm ^_^

You know I was just reading an article today that said that eating the frozen dinners can be a great tool for losing weight because they have the proper portion size and so on... they said the best thing to do it add a fresh fruit like an apple to your meal. That's great if you dont get the side effects - I was on it for 9 months and it sucked for me! I want to pick up those lean cuisines too! They're an awesome way of eating tasty yet still low-fat meals plus you don't have to slave over a stove for them either! Gotta run - hope you have a great weekend! I'll most likely talk to you then - cheers!

I am so bad for dishing out my own portions, I always take way too much. That's what I love about these. Its the same regular food I love to eat, but its not nearly as tempting to go back for seconds :D I got a nice selection though, some chicken, some turkey, pasta, veggies, YUM!

Mornin' Bailey :D Ugh! I had a Depo "nightmare"! I had TOM for 3 MONTHS STRAIGHT on that stuff!!! *shudder* a week is too long - let alone 3 months! LOL

Those frozen dinners are pretty good - I've only had a few, but they are nice and quick and are properly portioned out without having to think about it :D Hope you have a great weekend. Enjoy your window work :)

LOL that's exactly why I don't go around telling everyone Depo is a total miracle worker, I know that it can cause some really bad side effects in some women... definitely not for everyone.

I got a new Saturday shift, hooray! No more getting up at 5 in the freaking morning! I actually had the time to get breakfast (I used to just sleep until the last possible moment on the old shift) - got myself a nice big bowl of cottage cheese and apple chunks :D Think I'll pack myself a Michelina's and maybe some fruit for lunch, and I should have enough calories left for a good dinner tonight!

I have to let you guys know though, I didn't do my workout last night :( I think I strained my abs or something, because my obliques (the side abs) are still sore... usually any soreness is gone within a couple hours or so. Hopefully they'll feel better by the time I get home from work.

Hey if you're sore don't worry about it! I had to also because I think I started working out to hard so quickly! That's awesome that you can get breakfast in now! It's really important to eat it if you want to lose weight. Hey, what kind of workouts do you do to target your abs other than like crunches... I'm running out of ideas!

My Turbo Jam DVD routines are designed around the ab muscles, so almost all of them are good without having to get on the floor. You know Josh has a computer that can copy and write DVDs, maybe I'll make you a copy because I love them so much ;)

abs exercises are my worst enemy..ohh how i hate em...but let em rest, its your body telling you to definitely rest...sorry i havent been by...

hi!

So, I didn't believe you guys when you said that protein bars were gross. I thought maybe you just got the bad kind. But, it turns out, they are just gross. I had one today that tasted like and had the texture of a processed peice of cardboard with a thin chocolate coating. Ugh. Couldn't even finish it.

Lesson learned.

Calorie summary for the day:
- cottage cheese and apple - 150
- half a protein bar - 150
- michelinas - 250
- half a small oreo blizzard (so bad, and yet, so good) - 250

Running total: 800

Still 500 left for dinner!

I used those depo shots before. The first time, it was wonderful. No TOM from the very beginning. Once I decided to have a baby though, it took me 9 months to get pregnant from the time I didn't go in to get the next shot. :( Second time around (after birth of my third) it was a nightmare. So I finally said forget it. I used to have a friend that loved it though. It is kind of weird how it works differently for everyone.

Sorry I hardly ever stop by here. You are doing great! That blizzard does sound really good. I used to get the chocolate chip.

Beagle, I think someone called cardboard a "protein bar" to see how many people actually ATE it! LOL ugh! some don't even qualify as cardboard!! !LOL

I would not be surprised. Just a bunch of suits in a big board room meeting talking:
"Hey people wanting to get healthy don't eat chocolate bars!"
"We need to fix that"
"What if we took varying combinations of dirt and cardboard and called it healthy?"
"Brilliant! Here, have a bajillion dollar bonus!"

Turbo Jams!
