Lol I think all the scales are revolting against us! We step on them too much and they don't appreciate it. Maybe if we said thanks to them afterwards?

In any case, I've come to the conclusion that if I had one, it would be my TOM right about now, because I MUST be retaining (the birth control I take, depo, has basically gotten rid of all the TOM mess, so I have no idea when it would or wouldn't be anymore)! The scale went up TWO MORE POUNDS to 193! :eek: And I know I was good yesterday!

Bah, I'm going to go get dressed now and meet my friend for breakfast and an early movie.
 
Hi Bailey :) Hope you enjoyed breakfast and the movie with your friend. I say we all get together and have a scale burning party. I mean really, they did it with bras why can't we get together and burn scales! :p :D Keep up the great work :)
 
I am so for the burning the scales!! I feel for you Bailey, I REALLY do! Curse the blasted scale!! Curse.. :)
 
I don't hate my scale as much today, since I've gone back down to 190. *whew*

Taking my sister to the mall to get her a new cellphone (since her plan is under my name). Heaven help me, I think she's going to get one of those Pink RAZRs, she hasn't decided whether she wants it in pink or silver, but I hope she goes for the silver, even though they're both the exact same phone. I want to get a new phone too since mine is poorly abused and doesn't work as well anymore, but I'm too broke and I don't get the full discount for like 6 months :(

Depending on how long it takes for us to get the phone, I may or may not have time for a workout before going to work. I will definitely get it in before going to bed if I don't get it this afternoon!

I haven't eaten all of this yet, but I packed my lunch so I doubt I'll be eating something else. I don't know why I went to Taco Bell for lunch... I was really hungry and waiting at the mall for my sister, but I could have just as easily gone to Mr Sub, or Smoothies 'n' Wraps instead but nooo. It so wasn't worth it either. I mean, the first couple bites were really good, but by the time I was done it I just felt sick from all the processed cheese and beef grease :(

On the plus side, I'm still within my daily limits!
 
Okay, I seriously need to figure something out here. I haven't had a chance to work out properly in the past three days at all. Well, no, I've had chances but I haven't taken them because I just feel so drained that I just don't have the energy to put forth. I get home around 1:30am, and then I'm staying up until about 3 - so that's an hour and a half - but all I want to do is just change into my pyjamas and watch mindless TV to make it up to my brain for all the crap I've had to do all day. Then I get up at like 12:30, and I have to leave at about 2 - so that's another hour and a half - and that's about how long it takes me to get ready for work and I'm gone for the rest of the day.

Tomorrow I'm going to try and make sure to get up at 11 at the latest, because even if I go to bed at 4am that's still 7 hours of sleep, and I can make due with that. I've just been a lazy bum because this retraining at work kills my brain in the worst way.

Sorry to complain to you guys, but I figured that if nothing else, y'all were owed an explanation for why I can't even meet some simple goals I've set up for myself.
 
Bailey, don't feel too poorly girl. It takes a lot to try and deal with a new schedule. And retraining at work. Well all of that can take a lot out of you! You just have a lot on your plate. It's great that you are trying to refocus and find some time to exercise. :) All that matters is your able to reflect and try and fit some in some place and you're aware of it being needed. You WILL get there. :) It'll all work out.. just.. takes a wee bit of time to figure the balance. ;) Good luck!
 
Ugh, I don't know the calorie counts of anything I ate today, but I think I'm doing okay. I don't want to spend fifteen minutes looking crap up and calculating them out though. Basically I had about 3 cups of chili for lunch/breakfast (I was really hungry), then I had a small Quizno's honey mustard chicken sandwich for dinner. In between I had a banana peach yogurt smoothie (16oz), and two bottles of diet pepsi throughout the night. Oh, and I took an offered licorice whip from a friend (I really needed a small sugar boost). I may have gone over a little bit, so to play it safe, that's it for the day.
 
Mornin' Bailey (well, probably afternoon now huh?:D) hehehe I agree with NewLeaf. It takes a lot to get used to a new schedule (doin' it myself). Just the fact that you're aware of the missin' exercise is good. You can get it back into the schedule when you are comfortable. Its worse to not get enough sleep right now b/c then you aren't good for anything at all. Just keep exercise in your mind and squeeze it in when you can. Keep up the good work and have a great day. :D

Heh, well I got up at 11 today as planned... but spent the whole time working on a drawing for a friend that was supposed to be done last week. Here's the link if anyone wants to see it. Working on something I really really enjoyed doing has kind of given me a good brain recharge, and I feel much better about today :D

I have another picture I drew that I need to scan and finish, but that can wait.

Thanks for the concern Tempest, but you really don't need to worry - I didn't even wake up until "lunch time", so my meals are usually all messed up. I did stop and grab another Quizno's sub today anyways since I got to work earlier than I usually do, and man I love the Q ;)

I've also got a bunch of fruity stuff to munch on between meals (an orange, a banana, and a yogurt). I probably won't eat all of them, but whichever strikes my fancy by the time my short break rolls around :p

I'm glad you liked my picture, and I'll agree my style kind of borders on anime-ish, because I used to be the biggest fan girl, and ever since then I have been trying to differentiate and develop my own style :)

LOL MJ, I wish!. Maybe I don't advertise myself well enough, or maybe its that there are much more talented people than myself out there offering the same services that I do, but either way, its all volunteer work ;) I've tried doing window painting, website design, graphics, illustrations... all to no profit. Well no, one friend paid me $20 for doing his website, which I promptly spent on something I didn't even need :p

Not that its a big deal right now, between my "real" job and school I don't have time to be taking on commissions and other projects anyways. In any case, its a huge compliment that you thought I was pro, so thanks :D
 
I've just decided that today will be a psuedo-fasting day. I was pretty bad yesterday, after dinner I had a big handful of candies (those reese's peanut butter balls), and then one I got home I had a slice of lasagna. So, I'm going to have some breakfast/lunch right now, and then nothing but water until tomorrow morning. If I can make it the whole time, I'll have made up for yesterday and then tomorrow I can eat properly (but ONLY properly, lol :))
 
I just learned a very good lesson. Doing situps on an empty and hungry stomach is a Bad Idea (tm). Its interesting, the feeling of hunger, combined with ab muscle fatigue feels incredibly similar to intense nausea, as if you were about to throw up.

So next time I plan on doing situps, I'm going to eat a little bit first.
 
So I think that on days like this when I don't even get up until noon and so I don't really have "breakfast", I'm just going to number the meals :p
