Hey Beagle! Don't worry about the 1.5 increase. You'll take it off. Besides it could be water.

You're breakfast looks yummy! Mmmmm What I'd do for some eggs and bacon right now. haha Hope you have a great day!

I'm pretty tired today, but I can't complain too much. I was up until after 3am test-reading my best friends first novel. Its an excellent storyline, but I found a couple inconsistencies she might want to fix ;) It was big though  Standard printer paper size, single sided, 12-point font, and in excess of 300 pages! She could have gotten it smaller, but she had reasons for printing it that way, so if it ever goes to publish (I hope so!) it'll probably be around 200-300 little novel pages - still a fair chunk of a book.

Anyways, today I'm at school nearly the whole day, won't be getting home until 7pm, so exercise will have to wait until then. I'm not in a big rush though, since last night I was waken rudely by a massive muscle spasm in my calf. I think those are largely caused by not enough calcium, which I'm not surprised about, I'm not big on milk. I think maybe I'll start taking some vitamin supplements soon, since I know I'm lacking in vitamin C too, and heaven knows what else. In any case, I absolutely have to exercise today, even if I need to turn the bike down to super-low resistance. I'll have to make extra sure to stretch properly before I start though, since my calf is still very stiff, especially going up and down stairs. Babying it won't make it better though, so I'm trying not to limp so I can hopefully stretch it out over the day.

Thanks NewLeaf, I'm trying :)

I'm a slightly annoyed right now. One of my classes is cancelled for next week (yay!), so rather than having us sit on our bottoms, the prof wants us to attend one of the many "International Week" sessions (boo), and do a write up on what we saw (double boo), for the next class (triple boo). Oh and we still have a paper due the class after that one (so many boos...)

Sigh, I really need to crack down on myself. Three assignments due in the next two weeks (though one I already finished and handed in since I won't be there when its due). Still so far behind on my reading but I just can't bring myself to read the texts. They are SO BORING. Curse you, short attention span, high speed connection, and interesting internet. I think I should to "disconnect" for a week or so to catch up, but I really don't want to. ;)

So I got my physical done today. Got some good news and some kinda-bad news. The good news is, according to the doctor's scale, in full clothing (minus shoes) I'm 187lbs :D

The kinda-bad news is two kinds: he thinks I have a heart arhythmia so he wants an ECG done with my lab work (which I have to get done tomorrow, didn't have time to today). He also found a very tiny lump on the breast exam. He thinks its benign, but wants to check it again in a few months to be safe :(

To cheer myself up afterwards I went shopping with my best friend for bridesmaids dresses for her wedding this summer. I was pleasantly surprised to find I fit a 14 dress (and a very pretty one!), when last time I checked I was an 18. Hopefully I have to have it taken in when I try it on again in May ;)

Hi Beagle, just checkin' in :) How are your assignments for next week coming? Don't you love it when doc says you weigh less then your scale at home does?!:) Hope all works out with doc's findings and tests.... keep us posted. It looks like you are doing well with your food and have gotten back on track with your exercise :) A lack of potassium may also cause cramping. Ahhh bananas and potatoes LOL Keep up the good work, Beagle :D

Assignments? I'm uh... working... hard... on them. Yeah.

I'm actually taking saturday off work so that I can work the whole weekend through on them. :D

Hi Beagle! Sorry to hear about your heart and your lump in your lady lumps. Any word yet? I need to check for lumps more often. I'm praying that you will be ok! Keep me posted. I'd hate for anything to happen to you.

LOL Oh, Beagle, u r 2 funny!!!! It "sounds" like you're working hard LOL Here's to a good weekend! :D :D

Hey Beagle... I really hope your assignments go easy and quick for you this weekend. I am sure when you get down to it, you'll whip them out in no time! :)

Again sorry to hear about your doctors appointment. Let us know how things turn out but we WILL be thinking of you. I know how it feels when they aren't "sure" of anything, but seem hopeful on things. Its just frustrating not knowing. So my fingers are crossed for you and I hope to see you posting some upbeat news soon! Have a good weekend girl! :)

Thanks for the support... I'm not worried about them that much, but it was a bit disconcerting to get so much almost-bad news in one check up. I'm on a forced fast today for the lab work, which I'll get around 3:30, and then get some lunch when I get home. Lotsa water today though!

Also, I'm thinking of dropping one of my classes, even though its too late to get all of my money back (I'll get half). Its just that my first class M-W-F I keep missing because on T-Th I don't get home until nearly midnight and then it takes me like two hours to wind down enough to sleep, and I have missed more than half of this class because of it. Its just a waste of time and effort. Too bad I already highlighted all over the first two chapters of the book trying to keep up, now I can't return it :(

Got my labwork done today, wasn't as bad as I remembered it being, though I still find getting my blood taken to be very disconcerting even though its not actually painful. The ECG was a peice of cake. I just had a bunch of stickers all over my chest and arms/legs for a couple of minutes. Then I think I over compensated with food because I was so hungry.

... okay, I'll let myself have some fun, but not until I've been working hard for at least four hours! Then I'll give myself a break for an hour, and then its back to the grindstone!

So, I just got home from chopping all my hair off  Went from having it down to the middle of my back (but I always had it tied back), to having it at my chin and layered as high as the middle of my ear. It looks really cute! The great thing is that its so low-maintenance - even if I just let it dry naturally it still flips outwards (though it seems to look better if I brush it into flips while drying it, which'll take about five minutes). Now the real challenge will be remembering to keep the length maintained by actually going to a salon more often than once every six months ;)

Hey ya Beagle :D Isn't the hair-chop a great thing!?!?! I did that last year, and I felt like this giant weight was taken off my neck (no pun intended :D ) LOL But, alas, I haven't been back since so it is now 3/4 of the way down my back again! LOL

Looks like your doin' great :D Keep up the good work and I'll see you later :)
