Oh, brilliant!! Down so far under the eighteen-and-a-half mark - down to eighteen-and-a-quarter!! Really, really well done!

Rob's right, that four pounds a week won't keep going forever, but I'm cheering all the way for you to manage it this week as well - it would be ... well, I've said brilliant already, - it would be just amazing to be down to seventeen-something! Oh, go, you! for another great week! :hurray:

Thanks all!!! I’m having an exhausting week, real busy with work and other stuff so I said I’d jump on and post really quick. Today marks my 10th day not eating over 3000 cals . ( mind you, I know for most of ye this might seem crazy but for me the last year and a half I’ve been eating on regular 3000,4000 cals daily) I said in my last post I wanted to lose 4 pounds this week but now I’m being realistic and saying 2!! I haven’t been depriving myself. It will be Monday when I weigh in next as I’m away weekend so cannot weigh in Sunday :)

Speak laters,
Kate

No, I see rational, not crazy here, reducing is good. You may have to cut a but more to lose weight a little faster, but you can figure that out as you go along. Good luck with the Monday weigh in.

If you can lose weight on almost 3000 kcal/day enjoy it while it lasts! We all have to cut down further at some point but no need to stress your body with it yet.

A very old friend I had years ago was advised to reduce his pints consumption. He cut back to 8 a day ! Reduction is good Kate and will lead to a weight loss . You can cut back further when your weight loss slows. Realistic is good. Have a fab weekend and let's hope storm Jorge (pronounced Hor ey ) does not cause too much grief

Hey guys! Just making a quick Sunday post. There seems to be abit of confusion in my last post :) my daily average cals are 2340, ( not 3000) and I’m walking the most I have in years! I’m just thrilled cos I haven’t eaten over 3000 or 4000 cals in what seems forever ( my binge state)

I have decided I will weigh in Wednesday instead of tomorrow which is Monday in Ireland :)

My friend today said I looked slimmer:)

I plan on doing 2 days 800 Cals.

I really want to rip this fat off me!! I saw myself today in the mirror and altho I look slimmer I have such a long road ahead of me! This fat wont disappear overnight!

Can officially say the urge to weigh self every morning has gone to the waste-side! Woop woop!!!

Anyways I shall chat to ye on Wednesday! I’d love to see the 17’s but if not then woop woop

Hi, Kate. Yay to you doing so much better, with reducing your calories & walking. Also to your friend saying you looked slimmer & to staying off the scales. I was tempted to look today but didn't. 2 days at 800 will certainly help. Fingers crossed for your next weigh-in

Thanks a mill Cate!! I really hope it helps :)

Oh, cheers for your friend noticing that you looked slimmer - and for you seeing it too! :hurray:
I'm impressed with your resolution to not be hounded by the scales - and I hope they jolly well behave on Wednesday!
(And I hope the storms round your way haven't been too bad - hard to get out walking when it's blowing a gale, with rain as well!)

I know that feeling, it can be hard. The right way to look at it, of course, is that you are looking slimmer, that's no small accomplishment, and your friend saw it also! You are so much better off today than you were not long ago, losing weight will get you where you need to be, and you are doing it! This is one of the reasons I try to avoid long term goals in favor of the short term, really just to eat right today. That is something you can accomplish today, and keep accomplishing it and the weight will follow.

You are doing great! Keep it up.

Losing weight instead of gaining is double progress but I understand being a bit impatient. Your calories sound very decent!

Hi guys! Thanks for the above messages of support! :)Weighed myself this morning and I am now 18’ 1. So I lost 3 pounds! Tbh I’m kinda down about it as I thought I would be at least in the 17’s, but I haven’t been starving myself at all. With my daily calories being around 2185 average. Anyway must not give up! Will aim to lower cals for the next week as it’s too high!

Laters,
Kate

I think that is great! 3 lbs is amazing. You will be in the 17s soon enough. Feel good about what you have done, it makes me feel good to see it!
Thanks a mil Rob! Feeling wonderful!! I feel I am at peace with myself cos I know I’m not gonna give up this time

3 pounds a week is amazing, especially when it's the second time in a row, congratulations! Don't lower your calories earlier than necessary; you'll end up missing them soon enough.

18 -1 - so just seventeen ounces away from being in the seventeens! :) I can understand why you're disappointed (so close!) but you honestly, honestly shouldn't be!
You said last week that you'd be happy with just a two-pound loss, and even
I’d love to see the 17’s but if not then woop woop
and here you are with a three-pound loss, and so on the brink of being in the seventeens - you honestly should be congratulating yourself right now!
And yes, don't be in a rush to cut down further - it's working for you right now at the level you're at - seven pounds in two weeks, right? That's half a stone, o_O which is a terrific achievement! Well done you, and hang in there!
