July 7


So yesturday for the first time EVER I went to the park a couple km from my house. I put my MP3 on LOUDLY so I wouldn't hear anybodies comments and went for a little walk...it was heaps of fun...it's really a pretty little park. I walked for about half an hour...the miscitos started to eat me, so I headed off to the gym. All I did there was the stairmaster for 10 minutes and weights. BUT, I'm pleased to say that I'm back down to the weight that I have listed on my ticker, it was about a lb or 1 1/2 lbs, not that much, but I'm SOOOO glad I'm there!!! :D Now for the REAL work!!!

I've gotta get over to the gym now, before my shift at the clinic...so the pounds will come off!!!!;)

July 7 Update

Ok, so I just finished at the gym, and boy was it a good workout!!! I love those kinda days!!! As far as my eating goes, it hasn't been THAT bad. Last night I had chicken fingers and rice (of corse that includes sweet & sour sauce AND honey dill sauce) and I also had 5 chocolate covered granola bars, but I purged those, so they don't really count. Now if I can go the rest of today eating only good stuff, I'll feel EXTRA good!!!:D
 
July 9

Ok, so yesturday was a pretty good day, I didn't eat ANYTHING that I felt bad about, plus I had that good gym day. However, I'm on my way out to lunch with a friend and her son...we'll have to see how it goes. This is my "mini test" to see how much will power I REALLY do have before the chanllenge starts!!! ;) Lets kick butt Initial C, VonArtiste, Cannon2006 & ShannonM!!!!:D
 
Hey AussieGirl! Can't wait until the challenge, I'm so excited! We are so gonna win! I'm glad you had a good day at the Gym, keep it up!
 
Wellll hellllloooo.... :) 5 choc granola bars?!!! Honey!! What are you doing!!! ok, guess I shouldn't get all righteous and whatnot, I had two bags of popcorn the other day cuz I was stressed, lol. and I don't even LIKE popcorn! :rolleyes: Glad to see your back at your ticker weight, lets kick some ass, and that 16lbs will be gone before ya know it :)

Thanks so much for the support Jesse!! I appreciate it. The thing is that 5 chocolate dipped granola bars is only 1 less than the WHOLE BOX!!! I'm just like that, I can't have anything half way!!
I was up till 1 am last night because I went out, and when the alarm went off at 6, I just COULDN'T do it!! Today and Sunday will be my days off, but that's IT!!! I HAVE to get up in the morning...or else!!!!

Don't worry about those Granola bars, just move on. The thought of letting down the team has certainly made me think twice about snacking!:D
 
Your SOOOO right AussieChick!!! That was my thought today, when my boss, for the first time EVER, asked me to go to the bakery to pick up a few rolls!!!! I grabbed the rolls and ran for the door...just ending short of throwing the cash behind me as I ran!!!!
 
lol. it's a good thing u didn't steal them... OR taken a bite outta them as u brought them to ur boss. ;) I know exactly how u feel though. I'm a baker's daughter. I'm surrounded by cakes, pastries, buns, breads all the time.

How long have you lived in Canada?

And good on you for losing those 13.2 pounds.
 
Wow C. If I was a baker's child I would have literally exploded by now. You're gonna do it tomorrow AG, I have faith in you.
 
lol. I almost did.
but actually... I got fed up with the food there. I don't eat pastries and buns almost at all now anymore.

I think we have all been there a time or two. I tried Jenny Craig to lose weight once. I didn't really like the food but boy did I love her snack bars. Oh they were so yummy. So I would buy my food for the week and on my way home I would eat the entire box of snack bars.

We slip up a lot but weight loss is like a road trip. There are hills, valleys, forks in the road, pit stops, detours you name it but as long as we stay on the highway we will eventually get to our destination.
