Weight-Loss Anybody want to try a drinking water challenge?

I read that...

I read that I should be drinking half my weight in ounces... So I should be drinking 120 ounces of water a day.. Also read I can do that with my Smoothies.. and herb tea's.. and.. (^&%* forget what else.. ):rolleyes:
 
Friday - I know I drank 96oz at work, can't remember if I drank anything at home.
Saturday - 80oz
Sunday - 60oz

Hoping to up things this week. Need to do some flushing!;)
 
ok, i've been busy moving this past week, and completely fell off the wagon:mad: ...time to get busy again! i can actually tell that in a very short time, my body did in fact get used to 64-80 oz of water per day...i never thought that would happen when i started this challenge! after not reaching my daily goal for the past week, i now feel myself WANTING to drink more, which is a huge success as far as i'm concerned!:D
 
Can y'all add things to the water that will help. Some days I make weak tea and that seems to help and of course there are so many flavors out there too. By the way I drink any where from 1 gallon to 2 gallons a day. But I love water. I keep track at work by filling up a gallon and drink it before I leave. Oh and I have to keep an eye out for my electolytes. I take in a little more salt or potasium on the days i get close to the 2nd gallon. ;)

Yeah you can add things to your water and it still counts. Way to go on the water!! Right now I have trouble getting 64 oz in!!:D
 
112 oz yesterday. I know I said I wanted to stay within the 64 to 96oz range, but I think it helped me to lose the 2 lbs I gained over the weekend.
 
Im a little late but I love this idea! I started a food journal a while back to keep myself honest but it never crossed my mind to start logging how much water I drink. Im in!
 
Bit of a rough go yesterday, only 32oz at work. However, managed to get in another 40oz at home. Total yesterday 72oz. Today will be better!:D
 
Drank 88oz of water today..and still have a few hours to go.. so may get another 8 in..:rolleyes:
