Amanda's Diary

Thanks so much ladies. I really needed those comments and that extra boost. I'll still be in the wedding of course. I'm going down there to find the dress and hopefully try it on, probably about Thursday or Friday. Anyway, I'm going to ask them about ordering and things like that. Then I'll call my friend back and see what the deal is. $150 is just a lot to spend on something that you weren't even considered. Of course that's not counting shoes, hair, etc.

Ok so I've decided to raise my calorie intake and hopefully break through my plateau when I move it back down. (I'm going to do more taebo and lifting now and less running for the time being). We'll see how this works for now.

I haven't been bowling in years!!!

I'm thinking about upping my calorie intake for a few days too. How much are you raising it to?

I love bowling. I didn't bowl very well last night though. I was definitely under average.

Fuunky- I'm thinking 1400-1500 It sounds like a lot but maybe it's what I need at the moment. It can't hurt. :p I need to do something lol

Man I suck. :( I'm thinking this upping my calories is going to give me issues. Once I make them high, I can't seem to control myself. BLAHHH

Friday I guess is my "off day." Although I really shouldn't have one. It's like this entire week has been off. It's just been one of those weeks. Tonight Greg's parents will be in town and we're going out to dinner with them and his aunt and uncle. I'm sure that will be a good time. I haven't seen his dad in a really long time. Umm about a year and a half or so? (They live in PA) Anyway I think we'll have a good time. I'm looking forward to it. :) I need something like that in order to get things straightened up in my mind or something. Work has been crazy this week and school and the wedding issues. Ah well enough complaining.

Thanks so much girls for all your kind words and helping me through this. It will definitely help me to come out with a renewed inspiration and drive to succeed. :) I can do it. I know I can. I've come too far to quit now. GO ME!

I hope you have a wonderful time with your family.Im sure the wedding issues will sort them selves out eventually its hard to no what to say to friends sometimes because you don’t want to hurt there feelings. Not many more days to go in this week then you will be able to get back to your 1200 cals start a fresh new week. I no we can do this keep your chin up. ;)

Thanks so much for that Rosered

I was just reading some posts and thinking. I think the reason that I've been so bummed about the weight loss journey lately is because of people on here ditching. LOL That seems bad to say, and it shouldn't affect me but it does. Maybe I've begun to rely too much on others' postings and support? Hmmm I just don't know. Regardless...I hope you all stick around because I love hearing from you all.

Angela~ Thanks so much for posting girl! I hope all is well soon for you. :) Can't wait to see you back to posting...I'm missing you!!!!

I know what you mean about feeling discouraged because of other people dropping out, but all we can do is continue to support the ones who still want to reach the goal and welcome newbies! Just think, if we stick with it, it will inspire lurkers, who will in turn join us and build new friendships.

Today...Monday...ick! A fresh start to my diet. Last week was horrible. Anywho! This week I'm going to be back on track! I hope :) no...I will. Ick I feel so horrible today. That lovely time of month. It feels like all my work has been lost somewhere. Of course I'm all bloated so the pants that were too big, aren't feeling too big today. I had a bad week last week so I keep going, oh no maybe it's from that. I know it's not though.

Ick just one of those days. Headache, hungry, cramps ahhhh!

Hey hey, don't wory about the bloating-that just happens during that time. It'll pass and you'll unbloat. The important thing is that you're back on track-back in action! Wha-hoo!

Thanks fuunky! I needed that!

Thanks so much to all of you for sticking around and continuing to post. :) I know it's all going to help me get back on track and get these pounds off again.

Oddly enough, I'm feeling really good right now. As crappy as I felt this morning, I feel that much better this afternoon. Of course that will probably change as the Advil wears off. LOL! I'm starting today back on the "diet." I'm going to get myself back into the groove of working out. I think this week I'll just do Tae Bo and next week I'll be back to hitting the gym. That's the plan anyway.

I feel like I'm getting back to the "normal" Amanda now. My spirits are high and I'm ready to go. It was just an obstacle put in my way. Next time I'll deal with it better. As for now, FULL SPEED AHEAD! :)

Not bad for my first day back. ALTHOUGH I'm not sure about my snacks. I'm guessing my popcorn is a high guess and my nachos are low. They probably balance out lol Somewhere around there anyway. Well anyway...it was a good day. :)

Is that a Chik sandwich as in Morningstar Chik patties? I love those!

Hey, if you want a low cal popcorn snack try the Orville Redenbacher's Light Mini bags of popcorn, or the Healthy Pop brand. They're both super low cal and really good. I love Healthy Pop's Caramel Apple popcorn and there's only 100 calories per bag! The Orville Minis are good for portion control. I like to have one with an apple for a wholesome snack. Anyway, 1,360 really isn't bad for your first day back. And I think the Tae Bo/gym next week is a good plan. How's little Gizmo doing?

Fuunky~ That is indeed a Chik sandwich as in Morningstar Chik patties. I'm a very picky eater but figured I would try them. I LOVE THEM! That's what I eat pretty much every day for lunch. I have a Chik pattie on a lite bun with no fat cheese (or whatever it is lol)

Thanks for the popcorn tips too! I'm really going to have to give those a try. I love popcorn and it seems to be a pretty good snack for me. I'll give them a whirl and see how tasty they are. :)
