Well, good news here... My hubby surprised us all by saying that he's taking us all to our hotel for the day/night!!! We are so stoked, we love our hotel, we stay there once a year every year since we've gotten married. Then on Memorial Day we are attending a cookout at MIL's house after we get home. It shouldn't effect the challenge though, I should be able to pull through it well.

Ok here goes

Food for today

Lunch - 2 white rolls with ham, lettuce and mayo (450 cals)

Dinner - 2 veggie burgers (160 cals), 2 white rolls (300 cals), mayo, lettuce, tomato and gherkin (100 cals) 200g oven chips (260 cals)

Snacks - 35g crisps (165 cals) 1 ice lolly (70 cals) 2 coffee (60 cals) SO MUCH WATER THAT I THINK I MIGHT DROWN!! 1 small pancake with strawberries and light cream (100 cals)

Total cals Around 1700 ish



Exercise - 8 mile walk (4 miles UPHILL!)
2 mile walk with puglet later

Walked for 3.5 hrs and will have another walk later for about 30 mins

So 4 hrs walking :D

I need to drink 115 oz water (7.5 pints) Managed no probs today cos of the walking! Drinking pint 8 as we speak :DFirst day and all targets met ( i think!)
 
Haha I just woke up- so I am about to go and get some of my exercise in for the day.. Considering I have to exercise ALOT to drink the water- I can't drink the water if I do not need it, I have a salt loosing syndrome, and drinking tooo much water would be bad. So I need lots of exercise to be able to drink that much! lol. I will update my whole day of food tonight at midnight- since I woke up late, I keep my daily intake on another site so I will just copy and paste it here around midnight. Good Luck everyone!

Hi guys - just wanted to pop in and clarify that weigh-ins will be every FRIDAY before MIDNIGHT EST. These will start this coming Friday. You guys are doing great so far! I'm jealous that you guys get to post for each other already! grrrrrr.
 
So far so good. I woke up really late so I really only had lunch/brunch.

Brunch: 1 egg scrambled with a pinch of shredded cheese and one slice of whole grain toast
Water intake as of 2:45 = 42 oz. (74.5 to go)
Exercise so far: 30 mins on treadmill! woohoo

Hey everyone!

Food for the day here:

My kid wanted to go to IHOP, so that was breakfast for us. I ended up with a Big Steak Omelette (no green peppers because I hate them, made with Egg Beaters more to save saturated fat than anything else); kid got the pancakes that come with that, plus some bacon. I was done after half the omelette, so the rest came home for my partner's lunch. I eat out a lot for work, so I'm generally pretty decent at eyeballing what I eat and figuring out a close approximation later; based on how it's sitting in my belly, I think my guesstimate might be a little low.

MIL just gave me a big bowl of watermelon.

I've got an eye of round roasting in the oven for roast beef later, and a head of cauliflower which will get about an ounce of shredded 2% cheddar. Rice pudding with frozen sweet cherries (not sweetened; sweet cherries as opposed to tart cherries) for dessert. Maybe a bag of 94% popcorn for late-night snack. ETA: I ended up with corn on the cob, rather than cauliflower, and a bowl of green grapes, rather than popcorn.

Water: 1 32-oz bottle down, and I just filled it up again. ETA: all drunk up.

Exercise: I worked in the garden for an hour or so; about half of that was breaking / hauling sod, lugging bags of topsoil and mulch, and hoeing. I wouldn't normally count that as exercise, and probably won't for the challenge. Yesterday I did about 90 minutes of Wii Fit, and I'm still sore from that (plus have a not-enough sleep + caffeine withdrawal headache), so may or may not do any formal exercise today. We'll go Wii Fit again tomorrow, though.

I would def be counting that gardening as exercise! Sounds exhausting all that lifting and digging....bet the garden is looking good tho :D I love the WII and usually play olympics - the swimming one is an arm killer!

Evening: Pene Paste in a tomato/garlic/herb sauce and meatballs

Drink wise:
2x 2L highland water
4x Apple and Blackcurrent squash (About 2L water)

6L so far :p

Finished my 116.5 oz of water and snacked on some green beans and a fiber 1 granola bar.
