A new 12 weeks

Lei, I can't remember having seen an Oriental compete in these events but there are no rules prohibiting. One of the best throwers out there is black.

Jenn, Jonathan only brought his camera phone and it was already filled up. He's bringing his digital camera on Tuesday to take actual pictures and I think he said he can do vid on it also.

Had a server problem or something...net was down for like 3 days. I don't remember what I did on Mon, threw on Tues and worked out tonight...I'll log it

Sorry Jenn...Jonathan didn't grab his camera...showed up late so it was dark and he was tired so we spent two hours just workin on me...needless to say I was beat. I did manage to make new PRs in all my throws though. We'll throw again either Sat or Sun and I'll shoot him an email to bring his camera

HA1. I'm calling it being resourceful :D But hey, on a kinda' cool note, I was offered money to make another kilt for another kid.

Yeah, I get inspired by guys like Jesse Marunde who do this kinda' stuff but with 405 and more. On a side note, 260 is about all the weight I have to work with, so I figure if I can't go heavy I'll go long. Besides, I haven't done deads in awhile so I thought I'd gruel out a high rep nauseating, grip busting set. Thanks. :)

I have put up two kilted pics of myself (in the photo gallery under my throwing stuff thread) since you all want to see me so badly in a dress. ;)

What the hell is a power curl? And you don't use wrist straps when you snatch bb's do you? 110 is a hell of a grip.

I will occasionally use straps when doing a double handed snatch but never on the 1 arm. The 1 arm snatch is tricky due to having to balance the bar; straps limit or rather stop the ability to play with hand placement.

A power curl is a cheated bb (bicep) curl. Dip down and bend over slightly and use some body momentum...it turns it into almost a fullbody kinda' thing. I'd love to do some power shrugs but I don't have enough weight to really hit like I'd like.
