Well, had a week off of weight training mainly due to this stupid 3 day of pouring rain we had. Got some throwing in tonight but as we were finishing up, it started to rain again...dammit. Hopefully it's not to bad or I'll be lifting in the mud.

Week 15/Day 4-Fri (not sure why Ii listed yesterday as day 4)

Jonathan called and said he wanted to throw since most of the guys are heading up to Tulsa to train with Mike Smith (Highland throwing pro) for a day...unfortanately I can't go.

Found out there's no 190 class in the Arlington Games...so I'll have to throw in the C class...so much for training with the 42.:mad:

I cracked the hell out of one of the cabers due to a bad drop. Mailed in the entry form...can't wait til' June. Two new guys came out to throw with us, both from my work. I know one will continue to throw with us (Matt), not sure about Henry. Matt said he wants to compete in the Sept Tulsa Games...always cool havin new people.

Week 16/Day 3-Sat
Had a USCO (United Scottish Clans of Oklahoma) gathering/picnic today. Was cool, had the dancers and pipers+drummers out. So, all the throwers came out for a mock Game. Not a bad turn out-9 people throwing...in fact, had some we hadn't seen in months. 60 guests turned out for the event total.

All events got 3 attempts

*the power clean is my limiting factor on getting a 1RM on push press. Hmmm...not sure if it's a good thing that my push press 3RM is just about the same as my OH squat..either my push press is strong or my OH squat is weak

Thanks. Give me a year and I'll be hitting near 300. Well, the fight is scheduled for July 8th but I can't get ahold of my fight contact...and that kinda' preturbs me since I have a few questions. The other thing is that I haven't been able to maintain a training state for the fight like I should (cardio, ground work, sparring, etc). I'll be hooking up with the guys every Fri and Sat but we'll see if I'm to burnt or not to fight in July.
