Swimming....but im not sure if that counts as "playing" something. Also volleyball, although I'm not very good at it.

No. I think life is unfair...and I'm okay with that :)

My friend told me that I was the best person she knew, the most caring person she knew, and probably the best friend she had ever had (at this time she was going through A LOT and I went through it with her). I cried when she told me this.

There's something to like? :D I go to Everett High...we have a seagull for a mascot...nuff said...:D other than that, the Jazz choir that I am in. we meet at 6:30 every morning for a "zero" period

2. Do you wear make-up? occasionally, if i feel like scaring people with the difference. I usually never where make up, or put my hair down. It's always in a pony-tail

3. Have you ever watched a whole televangelist show? no. I've watched part of one, but was suprised at the fakeness of it.

The closest I ever came to that was when I was around 11 years old. I was body surfing in Acapulco, and a rip tide carried me about a mile from shore. Fortunately, I was a good swimmer, and even though I didn't know what a rip tide was, somehow instinctively I knew to swim parallel to the shore until I could get back. It was a terrifying experience.

2. What is your favorite food that you need to, or already have taken control of?
Nuts. I love nuts. I now buy only crushed nuts that I eat a tablespoon at a time.

3. What is the hardest part about your weight loss journey?
Worrying that five years from now, I'll put all the weight back on again, as I've done 8 times before.

4. What is the easiest part of your weight loss journey?
Spending too much time on WLF! :)

5. If you could give a random person on the street a gift (cost not an option) what would it be and why?
A college education. Education opens up your life to so many opportunities. I dropped out of college in my teens, and it really made it hard with a lot of jobs, until I discovered computer programming in 1980. I did go back to get a master's degree in 1988. Fortunately, Vanderbilt University let me enroll in their MBA program, even though I didn't have an undergraduate degree, and still don't.

Being a jester of the polyester palace - aka burger king - in high school - took years to get the smell of grease out of my hair, to be able to touch polyester again.

I love the one I have now... but
Network admin for a brokerage house on wall street - I worked 20 hour days 8 days a week - the stress was insane - bond traders were sadistic bastards with unbelievable tempers that was often directed at me when the network would blip for 2 seconds and they'd hemmorage cash... but the pay was incredible - the perks were pretty good, and i just loved it...

3) What kind of car do you think expresses who you really are, to the extent a car can do that?
The Cadillac Eldorado my mother drove when i was in high school - it was big, solid, dependable as all hell, great in bad weather and the night I came home fro a swim meet and ran head into a huge buck... and smashed up the front of te car, it protected me and a few hundred dollars later - it was back on the road again.

So basically - car and me - big, solid, dependable, takes a licking and keeps on ticking.

4) If you could do something other than what your are doing now for a living, what would it be?
A chef - i wanted to do go to the culinary institute after highs chool but the guidenance department had a cow - crap they had an entire farm that I wante to go to trade school - -GASP!!!

5) What living thing are you most afraid of?
Clowns - they completely freak me out

No, because I don't think I'd have enough time to get the full experience of being male in this society in 24 hours, and I'd feel cheated.

3. What jewelry do you regularly wear? My diamond earrings (anniversary present last year), wy wedding set, my watch, a circle pendant necklace received for my birthday

4. Thoughts on wedding rings? My hubby didn't wear one the first 3 years we were married. I also know other men who don't wear them because they "are uncomfortable" or whatever the reason, but I think you should get used to them. Wearing them at home is optional though.

well at school I only have a twin size...so I pretty much take up the whole thing lol (especially at my size :D ) but at home I have a full size and I tend to sleep on the left side.

What do you think about men who shave their heads?
Some can look sexy with it (Chris Daughtry) but others just look sleazy.

How often do you shave your..legs(if woman) face(if man)?
hahaha not very often...but I have never had much hair....even when I havent shaved in 2 weeks, you cant really see anything....its nice sometimes lol. But I RARELY wear anything that shows my legs, but if I do I shave them.

Have you ever been bitten by a dog?
only playfully. My dog that died last year would play a game with me where I would have her attack my arm (she was a small pappillon) and then I would say stop and she would immediately stop. Then I would stick out my arm again and she would attack it....it was fun lol.

Who would you say has been the most influential person in your life, and why?
Oh I wrote my college admission essay on this. I would have to say my dad...though not for positive reasons. But I have learned a lot about myself and who I want to be because of the difficult times I have had in life....most of which were a result of his actions. A lot of my character has been built during the last 2 years of my life... :)

bad grammar makes me cringe - bad spelling when it's not the result of a typo but someone using a word that sounds like and spelled differently drives me nuts (I just got an email from a senior vp who used the word manor 5 times in an email when he meant to use manner ) But typos don't bother m e -i speak fluent typo... webspeak drives me up a tree though - spell out the freakin' word - U R is not anything.. You are isn't that much more difficult to type our :D

I car camp - with 15 other women and 35 kids - we bring everything including the kitchen sink and cook, eat and drink better then while at home.

But, I'm still in a tent, sleeping OUTSIDE built, secure, walls - so that's roughing it for me right now.

My family has 2 dogs, 3 cats and a bird (sun conure). Since I dont live at home anymore (for 9 months out of the year) I dont really consider them mine. I cant wait to get my own apartment and my own dog.

I cant remember it that well, but I know it was about getting in a fight with my roomate...it was getting pretty heated when my alarm clock woke me up lol.

I am aware of the amount of salt I eat, but I dont count the amount or anything.

A pos - I used to give blood all the time when I was in college from 98-2000, the last time I gave blood, a young hot guy was doing the work, and he ruined me for life. He forgot to take the testing vials after taking the bag, and he untaped the needle in my arm and didn't tape it back up, he then proceeded to attach each vial and the needle began moving around in my arm causing MEGA bruising, I also have bad veins, so they can almost never be found. =( I may try again in the future though.

Yes, I totaled my car (flipped it) on my way to work on a rainy day coming around a curve--hit the car coming toward me or hit the bank.. I chose bank. 1. favorite baseball team? None, I don't like baseball. To me, it's one of the most boring sports around. But, if I have to choose, I'd say the Red Sox, because I have an ongoing fued with my pastor about Baseball vs Volleyball, and he likes the Yankees, so I always put Boston stuff all over the front of his house and in his office. (mom works at the parish)

I don't have a clock in my bedroom lol, when I'm at work I have an alarm clock only and that is set to the correct time so I can get up for work, but at home I don't have one.
