20lbs or less club

Hey!! I am so happy to see people back!! A lot people disapeared.... Yep, me too with the baby and all, my son is 3 though (still young) and I am 27, I already have the sags though, I think having a baby does it to you!! I have done good this week, I could have done a lot better, but I am ok with it because it was still 500cal a day better then what I have been eating. This week, I averaged about 1800 cals (one day I had a bad day 3, and today I had 2000 plus alcohol boredom) so next week I am going to be extra busy so the goal is at the most 1500 a day. We'll see! I'll give you my weigh in on Monday!
 
Hmm may I join you all here? 126 isn't my overall goal, just a short term goal! But my overall goal is somewhere around 20 more pounds so this sounds great for me! The new year has been kind to me so far as I am already down a few pounds from my holiday weight. I started my diet last summer and managed to lose 15 pounds in a month and a half or so...and then I stopped dieting and over the holidays went back up. Now I'm around to pre-holiday weight and want to keep my momentum up!

My goal is to be at a comfortable weight for myself by summer! I suppose I'm trying to get a head start this year instead of waiting until summer actually gets here...:eek:.

I'm here, I'm here.... :p Well, I did really good all last week. 1500 calories each day and about an hour of exercise. Then we went and visited family for the weekend and I come home feleing so bloated. It must be that I had a lot of salt over the weekend beacuse my usually somewhat flat (as flat as it can be after having a baby 5.5 months ago, lol) tummy is popping out of the top of my belt. I could hardly sit in the car and feel my belly rolling over the seat belt without throwing up. It made me so mad at myself. Eh, well I'm not going to be visiting for 3 weeks so I have plenty of time to eat right and exercise until them. Can't wait to drop below this number. I've been hover at 137.5 for a couple months now and I'm sick of it. btw, welcome everyone :):)
 
Went totally of the rails again a few weeks before xmas! Only stuck to diet for about 3 weeks! I'm really useless at this! Was going to start again on Jan 1st as that is a good time but I couldn't be bothered then, I know it sounds lazy but you have to be in the right frame of mind. So I'm ready to start again, this time I'm going to take it really slow by cutting out certain foods each week and doing extra 10 mins of cardio a day or something. This way, there won't be a complete change in lifestyle so hopefully it will work this time!

From about 3rd Jan to today I just had to cut out crisps, and do 10 min cardio, 50 leg exercises and 25 sit ups every other day. I have managed that but today I have to introduce something else. I think I'll do 15 min cardio, 100leg exercises and 50 sit ups every other day.

Anyway glad you are all doing well!

Well so far I am going well! Managing to stay on track and I stil let myself dig into a nice piece of chocolate cake because I haven't cut that out yet! Also did a 20 min walk this morning, had breakfast as well as piece of fruit, lunch was pasta, which was white but thats all school offer. Haven't snacked on anything yet, will probably just have my dinner and thats it.
 
Hello Everyone!!! If ya'll don't mind I would like to join. I have been at this website for awhile. Since Dec.5 I ahve been on vacation and I lost site of this forum and of course my weight. Most people on here know me as the "WATER LADY" I like to remind everyone to drink there water.

My my goals are to start counting calories :mad: I hate doing that but it does help kick start your wieghtloss. So starting this week, I am going to:

Eat 1500-1800
50 sit-ups a day
50 push-ups a day
80 oz of water
Walk 30min. a day

So tomorrow I will start and Friday I will wiegh in. The last time I wieghed it was last friday and i was 158. My ultimate goal is 130 but I would like to be 150-145 by my four year anniversary on Feb. 24:D

Hopefully some of you can relate to this....
I hate it when I tell someone close to me that I'm trying to lose weight and they exclaim, "BUT YOU DON'T NEED TO LOSE ANY WEIGHT! YOU LOOK FINE!"
I think a lot of people think that is the "polite" thing to say but I'd much rather get some positive encouragement. And just because most people don't see me as "fat" doesn't mean that I don't have room to improve and get healthier. (sorry for all the negatives! bad sentence) What do you guys think?
 
Hello all,
have a ? need a little assistance from yall. I lost a lot of weight went from a size 28 to a size 14. Well over the past 6 mnths i am back to a 15, 16. gained 30 seems small feels really big. My problem is i cannot seem to get that willpower going again. Eat right one day then the next its like binge any suggestions other than keep your mouth closed. lol thanks
 
Casey, I know exactly what you mean! I'm the smallest one in my family so they think it's totally ridiculous that I'm trying to lose weight. I'm always hearing "you're getting too skinny!" or "look how bony your wrists are!" I'm by no means that thin. I just try to ignore it.

pxx4013. I'm sorry you're having a hard time. I wish I could hel but I think you have to find your own source of willpower in order to actually follow through on it :(
 
Hello, I'm new...

Hi there! I'm very excited to find this site.. I haven't been able to find anything like it in my searching.

I'm Kat and just need support in getting to my goal. I, of course, am happy to support you guys in all of your efforts as well. :eek:) Right now I'm at 141.5 and would like to get to 124-126. My plan is simple.. eat right, good water, no pop, exercise 4-5 times per week... basic and healthy.

I'm married, have 2 kids, student/work part-time, so I'm busy :eek:) But, taking care of me has to be a priority too. Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself and I'll jump in if that's ok.

Here's to a successful 2007 for all of us!
 
CaseyAtMartin~ Welcome to the club!!!:D I know what you mean about people making the "You don't need to lose weight" To be honest I have said that before to others :eek: It is a comment that people make cuase they don't want to be rude about it. But you are right, it's better to be hinest and supportive.

Pxx~ Welcome to the Club!!!:D I know exactly what you mean. In 2003-2004 I went from 175 to 130. Oh I loved it. Then I had my son and all went down hill. It is still very hard for me to get back in the eating habbits. Stay strong and don't let the bad foods get the best of you. You did it once and You CAN do it again.

Well I have been a good girl with my exercises. I have been doing my 50 push-ups and sit-ups, my walks and I also have doing doing my pilates. Today I went to the gym and it felt so good to sweat :p . But ofcourse I am not doing good with my cals. :( I go over by 100-150. I gues that means I need to work out a little more. The mopre I do the more I am hungry.HELP!!!!! I have been drinking at least 3 liters of water daily so I don't know what I am going to do with myself:D Well, ya'll have a Great day and enjoy your weekend. Don't forget to drink your Water
