Hello :)

Hey everyone! I've been doing P90X for about 2 weeks but I've been struggling to find time to make sure I do the workouts everyday due to our 3 month old. I start back to work tomorrow so I'm gonna have to be really specific with the schedule and make sure I get my workouts in on top of taking him to day care, work, making dinner, cleaning and everything else. I'm hoping I can just wake up an hour earlier than I was planning (which is about an hour 1/2 earlier than I use to get up, the joys of being a parent!) and work out before he gets up. I've already lost about 10 lbs this month so I'm not complaining! Just gotta keep that up and hopefully I'll be at my goal for my wedding!

Hi everyone =)

Totally new to this whole forum thing. I am 23 years old, and I would LOVE to get back down to my high school weight (around 150). I honestly don't know how much I weigh right now, I'm too scared to step on the scale! I know I am over 200 though. I am basically just looking for some support and any helpful hints to get my started and to keep me motivated!

Hi:waving:, I'm new here as well, I'm 28 and I'm about halfway through my weighloss journey.
Started at 236lbs and have lost 47.5lbs so far. While I'm really proud of my achievements so far, I've been stuck at the same weight for a while now so really need something/someone to give me a big kick in the butt, any volunteers?:biggrinjester:
Would love to get to 140lbs!

I have a question; how often do you guys weight yourselves? Day to day? Week to week? Every other week? I feel like week to week is too volatile to know if actually weight has been lost (what if it's water weight?). At the same time, every other week seems to be too long to know if you have not been working hard enough. I'm just curious; I've never tried losing weight before, but I desperately need to.
Preemptive thanks =D

I used to weigh myself daily (immediately after using the bathroom first thing in the morning). Then, I switched to weekly. I would weigh every Saturday morning.

Now, I weigh myself at the end of every month.

I just feel more confident now about what I'm doing. I trust myself and know that the knowledge I've gained throughout my lifestyle change will serve me well and I don't have to monitor every .2lb loss anymore. After losing 80lbs, I know what I'm doing, I'm aware of my capabilities and feel stable about future weight loss.

myungsupah, which ever weigh (oops I mean "way" ^_~ *winx) works for you, you'll find out. It will fit your lifestyle the most. It should reassure you of what you're doing right but also remind you of mistakes you could have made as well. But it should also be something that won't stress you out or discourage you.

Remember, the number on the scale does not define you.

Emerald. I would just like to say that that picture might be the most amazing thing I've read. Rather; it's one of the last things I would have fathomed would be on this forum, but it's such a precious gem.

=D Thank you for the advice on the weigh-ins as well. I think I'll start off with every week.

so today was the beginning of my regimine. unfortunately, i forgot to weigh myself this morning. i'm AROUND 220 lbs though. (very rough estimate [last time i really checked i was 113, but i think i gained a few]).

breakfast: flamebroiler chicken veggie bowl with brown rice (<560 cal)
snack 1: protein shake (400 cal)'
dinner: flamebroiler chicken veggie bowl (less brown rice, more veggies) (<500 cal)
post workout: protein shake (400 cal)
bedtime snack: tbsp peanut butter (96 cal)
