20 or under years old.

just wanting to live this thread up again..

down from 87 to 85.9.. only 10.9 kilos left haha!

im still aiming for an 80kg mark for my bday (27 april) and my ultimate 75 kg mark at july-ish

limited my soft drink intake.. havent had a full glass (had a sip on the weekend) of it in almost 3 weeks.. really think it has helped with plenty of water and of course.. eating a lot more greens.

congrats to everyone so far and keep it up.. you will all reach your goals and you know it! =)

Congrats on your weight loss so far man. :cheers2:

You'll make it to 80kg by April 27 easily, I wouldn't be surprised if it were earlier April we'll be seeing that.

Great stuff on the soft drink. In my previous post I said I haven't had any soda since late December, I remember I actually had a sip of my friends diet creamy soda. My last soda was a can of coke on January 1. Now that's what I call a New Years Resolution (which I've always referred to as such).

Well done once again.

I am 19. I am 5'2". Originally I weighed 105lbs...but in a period of the last 6 months, I gained 30lbs! I had moved in with the boyfriend and I suppose, got too comfy and became a bit too inactive.

I thought it was maybe 15lbs...but when I got an a scale I was shocked!

Now, Emil is going to Argentina for 3 weeks this Friday. And he gets home on March 9th, which is the mark of us dating a year. I want to try to drop down some weight again.

What really is the most effective route for me? When I was my original size for ages - I ate horribly most of the time. Fast Food, and then maybe some fruit and juice randomly thru the day. I would only eat once a day, and then worse I would nibble junk after 7...up until around 2 to 3am. Otherwise all I did was dance 1 to 2 times a week for a few hours at the club.

Being a BMI of 24.7 puts me .2 from being overweight. And, that is scary for me never having had that issue til I turned 18 really. I had been a lil chunky in Middle school but prior was like a stick.

At about 110lbs:

Hi!
My first post on these forums. I found this site by accicent, but i think i'll be here quite alot in the future! I lvoe that there's even a thread for peopel my own age!
I'm 16 on march 8th, 5'8" (177cm) and currently weigh 171 (78kg).

Original: 184.8 (84kg) (as of January 15th)
Goal: 140 (63kg)

I've always felt bigger than my friends and it feels as if nows the time to get it right. I'd love to get to my goal by November 2008. I have my year 11 formal and i think that'd be just the best feeling. Anyway, as thats such a long time away I have an interim goal of 155 or so by June. I have a holiday planned for then and i'd love a new bathing suit.
I have a nutritionist, but i dont count calories and i exercise for 30+ mins 6x a week.
Anyway, looking forward to beign inspired and hopefully at the end of it all inspiring others (eek that sounds a bit lame)!

hii, I'm 17 at 5'1 and 147lbs.

I've always been a bit chunky but am ready to get back in shape!
I know i just have to control portions when i start exercising again becuase when i did crew we would exercise 2.5 hours a day, sometimes running the whole time and i basically maintained at 140-143.

Hello! Great thread ^_^ My weight is in my sig, and I am 5"6' tall.

(I am probably the biggest dork on the planet)

That is my body type right now, and after seeing it in a picture (particularly in the first picture) I have decided it is time for a change x.x;; Oh and my face is blurred out not to keep my identity (lol) but because I was making extremly bizarre facial expressions :biggrinjester:

Haha, so yeah this site has helped to much. Tommorrow I start a new job so thankfully, after almost two weeks of inactivity, I'll be at least somewhat physically active all throughout the day with college too.

Yay! We can do it! :grouphug: :hurray: :hurray:

Don't know if I've posted here yet, but I will. :-O

I'm 15, currently a Junior in an American highschool; that's the first year of college (6th form) for my fellow Brits. I gained a bunch of weight after coming to the U.S., so I'm looking to burn that off.

I started my "journey" at 5 foot 11, 257 lbs or 117.7 KG. I'm now 6 foot 1, 237.7 lbs or around 107.9 KG. I mostly weight lift or play basketball (even though my body type is unfeasibly wrong for the sport) and enjoy playing rugby when I can find those who know what it is.

Looking to get down to 80 KG or 175 lbs, so only 27 kilos (60 lbs) more to go!

Yeah I just started...but I'm going to keep at it!

Just joined today looking for some tips. Im looking to change from an offensive tackle to a fullback next year in football and want to drop about 30 - 40 lbs. Im currently at around 253. Looking to get to 210 - 220.

I'm male, 16, and live in South Dakota. My hobbies are football, weightlifting, fishing, hunting, and video games pretty much.

Here is a picture of me with my friend and football coach -

Looks like you and I have the same goal weight! Rock on!

Hi,

I'm new here. I'm 18 and weigh about 295 lbs (6 foot tall). I'd hope to get down to about 220 to begin with.
I've never been good at sports, and I was made fun of in sports lessons because of it.

Cheers

Liam

I lost 28 lbs to be a halfback

Hey man. I'm originally from Wisconsin and now in California. I tried the A.J. Hawk method of losing weight to become a Halfback. I was 188lbs and 5'8" and now I'm 160lbs and fast and cut. It's called Isagenix get it here: . I did the 9 day then the 30 day. Just try the 30 day. Later and good luck.

First of all greetings to all. I'm new here and am really hoping someone could help me out. So here's my story, lol. My name's Jacob, or Jake for short, and I am 16 years old. Also, I'm 5'9" and about 230 lbs. A good bit of my weight is muscle though, I've been pushing the iron for around a year and a half. Pretty much I'm a big guy and enjoy being a big guy.
Now this is all good and well except that in the past four or five months my gut has managed to just about double in size. I have also gained 20 lbs. going from 210 to 230, which explains the stomach :D . I was wondering if anyone has any advice as to how to get rid of this blob of fat I now call a stomach, and also keep it off.
I've been looking around the internet and talking to my friends and to be honest I really just want to bash my head off a wall. Everywhere I look I see a contradiction of where I had just look before. One place tells me to cut out all carbs., then I'm told carbs. aren't the problem it's all in the calories. Next, I find that it has nothering to do with what you eat but when you eat it and so on and so forth.
So does anyone know a good plan to drop this belly of mine? I'm not looking for result in 4 days or anything like that and am willing to put in time and effort to keep it off. I've never tried a diet but am willing to start one if it will actually work. Another thing is that I don't want to use any mediaction, don't like pills, potions, or any of that sort. Essentially, what I'm asking is for someone to point me in a direction that will allow me to drop my stromach and keep it off. Perferably a direction that has worked for them or someone they know, lol.
I thank you for reading this excessivly large post and wish you a good day.

Sincerely,
Jake

Post numeral DOS, but first post in an actual topic.

So.. I'm really REALLY terrible with introductions or whatever, but I'm eighteen, I'm about 5'5 1/2", and I weigh 180.

My 'problem areas' or whatever are my HUGE love handles.. or shelves as me and my friend so fondly call them.. and my huge butt. I'm Samoan.. I know I was built big, but seriously.. it's ridiculous. I don't really have support/motivation, nor do I have any ideas on how to lose this stuff. This seems like a megasupportive thread, I'm excited to get the ball rolling. : ]

Now see? Toldja I sucked at this, lol.

Hey there, I'm 18 and from London and just found this site today.

I'm 5'2" and I started a month ago at 154lb, at the moment I'm 147lb and aiming to get to 126lb, maybe lower depending on how things go. I would like to have got to around 136lb by my leaver's ball on June 20th, I don't know how doable that is but I'm hoping to get from a size 12 to a size 10 [UK] at least for the day.

It's nice to see I'm not the only youngster from England around these parts, and nice to know I'm not the only under 20 struggling with their weight as it sometimes feels it with pretty much all my friends not being an ounce over 9st. and a hell of a lot taller than me too!
