130's Club

I'm also trying to limit my bread. On work days I used to have 2 slices of toast in the morning, 2 slices of bread for a sandwich at lunchtime and I have no say in what we have for evening meal so could end up having pizza/ garlic bread/ something on toast etc. too. I can't cut out my pre-work toast because nothing else keeps me full for long enough, though on my days off work I won't have toast anymore. For lunch I've switched to pasta, not much better but at least a bit of variation. Ideally I'd switch to salad but I don't like salad so with the pasta I'm adding more other things (tomatoes, onion, mushroom, sweetcorn) to fill up on that and have less pasta. Can't do anything about evening meals really except have try to have less of whatever it is we are having.

I've also switched to brown bread so slightly healthier, though still on white pasta.

I also eat slices of brown bread. I really think that less than 4 slices of bread every day is difficult, you feel that you are deprived of something. For one month i haven't eaten pasta at all and i have taken care of sweats. I see a progress. The thing that cares me now is that i can't easily control myself between 7 pm and 11 pm. That time i usually feel tired and i think that eating gives me relax. But of course is really vain to take care all the day long and to leave yourself in the evening that there is the option to go sleeping to relax and so avoid eating. What do you usually eat between 7 pm and 11pm?:seeya:
 
We don't usually have our evening meal until about 6.30pm so I try not to eat anything after that as I don't need it. It's the cravings that make me eat at that time, last night I ended up eating a chocolate bar because I knew it was there and I couldn't stop thinking about it.

I agree that after 6.30pm we don't really need normal meal. I will also try to have my evening meal until 6.30 pm. and some kind of fruit or yogurt after that time if i am craving for food. At least i am stable at 135.5 lbs for 3 days now. What do you think about milk and cheese? I really can't be deprived of coffee with a lot of milk during morning. I like also cheese and i eat some kind of cheese (normal not light) every day usually at noon and evening. After 9.00 pm i usually eat yogurt but not always.:seeya:

Today at 138lbs. I hope i get down at my usual 135 lbs soon. I would like to ask when you lose weight do you notice any decreasing in waist measurements?
 
Sorry, I missed your other post. I don't like tea or coffee so milk isn't an issue for me, I have it once or twice a week with cereal and I think that's perfectly fine. I definitely try to limit cheese though, if I ate it twice a day I'm sure I'd put on loads of weight really quickly! I try to not have it at all really but I cave in sometimes and have a cheese toastie and I have lasagna once every 2 weeksish so that has cheese as well.

I'm not seeing much change in measurements at all at the moment! The majority of my weight loss has been off my waist though, there's not that much left there to lose. I still have a giant bum and thighs though so I'm hoping they start losing soon. I've just bought some new jeans and I have trouble getting them on and off because of the size of my calves so hoping they go down too.
 
Thank you for your answer. Now i see that i should limit the amout of cheese i use to eat. However i can't imagine myself not drinking coffee without milk so i can't really limit it. I like coffee and tea a lot. Have you substitute coffee with another drink in the morning? My waist measurement is the real reason i want to lose weight but i see little change. If you lose 4 lbs do you see change in the waist measurement? I think that i don't really lose in measurement except i should get down near 130lbs. On Monaday I return to my usual 136 lbs. I hope to get a little down during this week. And another issue is that do you think that can anyone eat as much fruits and vegetables he wants or there should be a limit in the amount of fruits and vegetables he eats?:seeya
 
138 today, I hope to get to 135 soon. Even if I maintain I will be very happy as this is now my third attempt getting into the 130s and hopefully this is my final attempt. I feel so much better even though its only a few lbs difference -- definitely a mental thing of being in the 130's (even if 139.8 lbs) rather than the 140's

138lbs this morning! Go me. 12lbs to go and then I'm at 9st. And 8lbs until my belly button piercing! Exciting.
 
Today 136.9 lbs. I would like to lose 4 pounds. There was a lot of fluctuation during July. At least i didn't get extra pounds but i didn't lose either. I will try this month to be more consistent to my programme. When i manage to lose 2 pounds then i am starving and i get them back immediately. Does this happen to anyone of you?:lurk5:

Today 133.82 pounds. I would like to lose 2 more pounds for the next week. There is some kind of fluctuation. At least i stay at this weight for some days. It's getting tired when i stay to my programme and i don't see progress for some time but i stay at least at the same weight. I only get hungry some hours during the day not all the time. I am having a good meal during late at the noon so i am not getting hungry during the day. But at the morning and evening sometimes i feel that i will succumb to temptation food. I would stay on track for the next days. How do you get over these moments that you feel that you need temptation food?
 
Today 130.7. Just a little more and i would leave from this club. However that happened because yesterday i didn't really eat normally because i didn't feel very well. I will see today that i feel better if i stay at this weight or it is just a fluncuation.
 
Today 132.94. The goal going under 130's seems more remote this week than the previous week. However i will continue nevertheless the fact that sometimes i feel that i will retreat. It's obvious that going near 130's and stay there it's enough difficult. This week i eat more normally than the pevious one so i gain again 2 lbs.
 
Today i leave this club. In the limit but i leave this club. Now i 'll try not coming back here and limit the fluctuation up and under 130's. It need's a lot of discilpine and exercise to make this stable and avoid fluctuation in the limit of 130's.
 
Still at this club. Now i am under 135 lbs. I would like to be near 130's as soon as possible!
