What's new? DAMMIT, JUST ANSWER THE QUESTION!!!!

NOT AT ALL!!!! It stuff like that which keeps threads like this from getting boring!
How do your cats like the post? Can you post a link? thanks!
I'm glad you didn't get hurt when your lawnmaker came apart. The good news is that it's just the blade!

Here are some pictures....the front looks like some weird art piece.....

I've got to add some more toys and maybe a few platforms....

And this is from the side. There's platforms all over the place in different angles for them to climb on and whatnot. Needs a bit of pimping out, but it was on offer (20 bucks instead of 80), and I desperately needed something for them to scratch and climb on!

It looks like a tree. Cats like climbing trees. I hope you'll never need a firefighter to get them out of it lol (don't worry...you're reading it correctly...my jokes are always that bad LOL)

Heeeheee...it's only 6 foot tall, I'm 5"9...don't think I'll ever have to call the firefighters for that! ;)

In other news, one of my kittens escaped through the kitchen window today, but decided to just sit on top of the trash bin for a while and have a good look around before coming back inside.

Oh, and got a volunteer job in an RSPCA charity shop! I wanted to volunteer for a while, so I'm really happy that I finally managed to get in. :)

I really think it's a great idea to make use of the wall to give the cats more security.
Sure it looks a bit weird, but I'd bet it will get used more than the average cat tree.

I
But there is a HUGE shopping department next door to my hotel with the largest collection of shoes! :D

So after my work day and after my gym...I think I know where I'll be every evening!

Even though you're at work, I hope you make the best of it!
I'd suggest not working out too hard, you'll need energy for you shopping frenzy!
............
My news:
My freaking dog got into the dog food last night. Normally I wouldn't worry, but this morning I smelled nasty gas smells, and noticed my dog's belly was distended beyond his ribs! (he's not fat, either).
I had a brief panic attack, and was worried that he might have bloat, intestinal blockage, or whatever else.
I took him outside immediately after noticing this, where he proceed to poop FOUR TIMES in about five minutes. His first pile was the size of a cow paddy! (sorry to be so descriptive, but it's true!)
After that, his belly appears to be not quite as swollen, which was a huge relief for me, but still.
I've been taking him outside every 2 hours today to be on the safe side, and he's certainly NOT getting any more food today.

Hmmm....well I'm sick of working from my bed. It's killing my back, and well my pillows are RIGHT THERE!! It's way more conducive to napping than working.. LOL! Sooooo... tomorrow I'm going to rearrange my room a little and hopefully make a productive work area. :)

Have you tried putting pillows under your knees while you're lying down?
This seems to help reduce back pain.

No, I haven't tried that. I almost always sit "indian style" with a huge pile of pillows behind my back while I'm working. And if I'm lying down, to sleep, I'm always on my side with one knee pulled up. It's the only way I can fall asleep..lol. Hopefully getting out of bed to work will help.

Upcoming tasks flood my mind.

1) 7/15 - Close on new house + drive back to old place to pack pickup.
2) 7/17 - Drive back to new place
3) 7/18 - Start new job (sleeping on floor in new place w/o TV/internet etc)
4) 7/21 - Back to old house to supervise packing
5) 7/22 - Drive back to Houston and supervise unloading

And if I can manage to squeeze it in.................sell the old house ASAP.

Getting stressed out won't help but it's going to happen - I may as well just accept it.

It can't be all that bad, I emigrated to the US with just a rucksack and a checked suitcase so I'm sure I can handle it ;)

Hey, Iain, this is an easy one to fix. Throw down a sleeping bag, or go to Walmart and buy a camping mattress or inflatable mattress, or a futon mattress.
I'm sure you could find something usable for $20 or less.
Good Luck!

I'll take blankets/pillow so sleeping should be OK. Not 100% sure if the fridge will be delivered by then but I'll survive one way or another ;).

I found new exercise on how to make ABS.. Downloaded video from Y.T. and going to watch it in few hours..

I'm still in Paris. I had sort out a fight between a French guy and a British guy today...why do these two countries hate one another even when they work for the same company! :argue:

Bah!

Ha ha! True but that is 'history'...they need to get over it & stop annoying me with their petty squabbling over nothing...

I'm an ex Aussie BTW so it's all rubbish to me!

Over 200 yrs of warfare between England and France. In the old world the animosity will NEVER go away. Try calling a Scot 'English' and see what happens. Or call a Texan a 'Yank' for that matter. Or maybe call a Kiwi an Aussie....

I am going to start a new business which is online and have lots of work to do.. making some payments right now...
