What is your name!

It's not very common, but it's a pretty normal name. I was born on my grandma Maxine's last birthday, and she told my mom if she didn't name me after her she'd come back and haunt her haha. So my middle name was changed to Maxine. I actually go by it in many professional circles and when I was younger. I was always very sad i didn't get to know my grandmother and so when I had my daughter, she got the same middle name. My mom actually cried when I told her.

There's some useless gibber gabber from me.

That's awesome! Naming someone after a person is really a great thing to do. I want to name one of my kids after someone in my family, only problem is, my grandparents and great grandparents all had weird names so they would be bullied to death :p

If I ever have a boy, his name will be Geoffrey, after my father.

Erika was actually got her first name after my bestfriend. Her name was going to be abigail, but when I was in labor I suddenly decided I hated it. I asked Andrew "What about Erika?"
"As in your friend Erika?"
"Yeah!"
"I like it!"

So I called her (IN LABOR) and asked if i could name my kid after her. All she said was "B*tch, you better!" So... that's how my kid was named. The end.

That's so cool! You actually called her while in labor? :D
Good thing you didn't call her Abigail.. I think I saw a character in a movie named that once.. she was a ***** :p

haha, I would have Willie, Fern, Victor and Artis to choose from if I wanted to name a kid after one of my grandparents.

Ciaran Francis Sherwin.....Gaelic name

damn doesn't get any more Irish than that.
Mine is Scottish. All 4 of my grandparents came over here during WWII. I missed the accent by one generation.

My dad used to yell at me with the accent and I can do a pretty good impersonation of him saying "God*ammit boy!!"

What is in the "initials" of our name: Lets see, he, he.

And, its not Donald Duck :D
