Sport What is wrong with bannanas?

Sport Fitness
Actually, I only steered my post back on topic as a token gesture. Totally aware that I'm flogging a dead horse but, hoping to avoid the wrath of the 'Please stay on topic' brigade :p

Although lilsarrygrl05, I'm sure I could talk about bananas for as long as I needed to but, I'd need to move into more interesting territory than just the 'are they good for you/bad for you?' debate! ;)

lol maybe you are talking about a different kind of banana...that would be a lot easier to talk about lol

Too much drama....Get back to fitness!!

Sorry, I want to bring it back to life :)

Does anyone know if cooking the Banana has any effect on it's nutritional value? (They are usually grilled while still Green if any of you are unaware of this)

A friend of mine does something like that when on camping trips.

split the banana open in the peel leaving the ends in tact, add in marshmallows, chocolate, and some crushed graham crackers and grill - she calls them banana boats

Lol, well that wasn't quite what I had in mind, I might occasionally glaze with honey or sprinkle on brown sugar before grilling though.
I was just wondering because a Green Banana is not sweet to taste so probably does have much sugar and I know that cooking changes the nutritional values of some foods such as the Tomato
