What does everyone do for a living?

Just wondering what people's work life is like here. I'm a waitress so I'm always on my feet and carrying something. I definately feel like it helps me keep in shape. Although, on a day where I work 12 hours it can be hard to sneak in so many little meals. I still couldn't imagine having an office job. I probably wouldn't be able to sit still long enough!

How about you guys? What do you do and how do you think it affects your health/fitness level?

Entrepreneur :) I have a stake in the following websites:
- Nutritional Center -
- AncientFaces -
- Eight Octave Design and Development -

The last one is my development company. We build enterprise software for medium-sized businesses and license our software to other development firms.

Personal Computer Repair technician. Owner & Operator GreenePC in Linton. I loved it at first but I can't hardly stand it anymore. In the beginning I saw revenues rise and made it through some pretty tough times but since the beginning of 2005 I have seen my revenues steadily decline. Damn Dell and HP are giving computers away and our local economy is almost non existent, it really cuts into profits. The average Joe can't tell 98 from XP let alone a cheap computer from a powerhouse and most people here are the perfect Wal-Mart customer.

I am actively seeking another career. Perferably something that does not involve computers. I am dying to work for a local coal power plant, Hoosier Energy but it is really tough to get an interview let alone a job. Oh well hopefully I can find something by summer.

Mreik...how'd you like o-chem? I'm takin an intro class to that sheit right now. It sucks...but then again, my study habits suck.

Don't know if you still pop around here but incase someone else does..

I started doing all this as a bartender workng 1pm to 4am. It wasn't easy for sure, but the days i had off i bulked cooked all my meals and then the days i worked i just took all the food in with me andate where and when i could. I didn't get any actual breaks being i was teh only bartender there but i did what i could. I worked out in the morning on days i worked, and then on days off gave myself the break and did it in the afternoon. Make sure to keep your calories adjust for being on your feet all day as it does make a difference, but still get in good food. If i had to eat out i made sure to try and stay as healthy as i could. Hope that helps you some.

I don't know what my major is gonna be yet, probably bio or something, because right now I'm looking at occupations in the health field. I don't know for sure, I'm finishing up high school right now but I've gotten a lot of my GE out of the way...hopefully that will provide for me to experiement with different types of classes for a semester or two.

This intro to o-chem class as some pretty tough concepts. But I can't shake the feeling that the instructor is just trying to ease our concious for the real deal. I don't know how I'll do when that time comes, but luckily my sister has been through this shiz and helps me out a lot. She's doing pharamcutical stuff as well.

My fiance is doing optometry and she only has to take intro to O chem, so who knows, maybe you'll luck out..

Well I am switching over to Fedex. Should start around end of this month, after finals:( Had the physical today and everything was good. Now I have more time to workout and spend with little A.

Then after I get my NASM cert, I hope to be doing training part time also.
