Yesterday was my birthday and I binged. I will remember yesterday as my birthday and the last day I binged on for a long time.

Lots and lots and lots of: chigger bites, mosquito bites, limbs, sweating, drinking water.

I did really well with water retention over the winter, but now it's summer and I'm drinking a ton of water and retaining. It's a vicious cycle. I need to find a balance.

Good for 3 days straight now which doesn't sound much but i'm pleased, it's a start. I feel better. Did well yesterday as there was temptation at home; a family member bought delicious looking cup cakes and offered them to me, i ate a very small piece of 1 just to taste it and left it at that.

I'm using android health app and I don't see a history of calories and so forth. it does keep a history of steps though, so with that said if I forget to take a screenshot the night before, then all of the information is gone the next day.

Trying to figure out the water thing. Yesterday was better. My calves are still swollen this morning. I'm doing decent on the calories so the weight gain isn't from that. But I am retaining water like always. I'm going to figure out a happy medium for summer though.

You do far more steps than me Tom, usually I do no more than 3500 per day. I need to increase it.

Oh the good side, I got a haircut which always makes me feel good. I got out yesterday, bought groceries, played a little lottery (didn't win anything).

my current goal is to do 6000 a day regularly. When I was watching my dad all the time, I could only be away for like 10 minutes at a time so was locked into that. now I'm trying to work up to walking 20 minutes at a time, 3 or 4 times a day. It's just so hot and humid right now. It zaps me of my energy and we are just getting started. we are supposed to hit 100F this next week unless something changes. I did get some new shirts (3x. due to the heat, I wanted really really big so they don't cling. they have wicking? technology in it so are supposed to be cooler.). Everything right now is geared toward staying cooler.

It's been 85F here today and i don't like it. Apparently it's the earliest time in the year temps have reached that level for 10 years.

Wow. Hopefully, that won't be a trend. For us, June was supposed to be cooler, but I'm not seeing it.
