Velocity Diet

I just ordered all the supplements I need to go on the brutal diet know has the Velocity Diet.

You can read about it on t-nation.

I have 17pounds of protein (casein, egg, whey) coming to me, 941ml of Udo's Oil, 2more bottles of Ephedrine (4 total), 100 caffeine pills and milled flax seeds.

I will be drinking shakes all day long for 4 weeks straight, I hope to rip 15 to 20 pounds of pure fat off myself in that time and most likely be the leaness I ever been.

I will post my progress and probably some rants because low carbs tend to make people grouchy. :)

I will get some pics done but please people don't make fun of my whiteness, i never got much sun the last few years. :p

that sounds hardcore....good luck.

It is hardcore, it came from a diet given to moridly obese people to lose fat to save there lives. Of course, its tweaked to suit a bodybuilders needs so there's more carbs and protein.

I just brokedown my macro ratios.

Training 3x/wk
1900calories
%25c/%50p/%25f
118g/237g/52g

Non Training/daily walks
1600calories
%20c/%50p/%30f
80g/200g/53g

Carbs will come in the protein shakes(maltodextrin), milled flax seeds and dextrose. Maybe a banana post workout.

I might have to adjust this has i go because i don't know the serving content of the protein yet because i customized it.

Does anyone know how many grams is in a 80CC scoop?

This is what I’ve come up with:

Training days
8 servings of protein (80CC) – 200grams of protein and 36grams of carbs = 960cals
9 servings of milled flax seeds (9 TBSP) – 33grams of carbs = 480cals
Post workout – 25grams of protein and 35grams of carbs(includes 4.5grams in protein) – 240cals
Udo’s Oil – 22grams – 200cals each – 1.5 TBSP (1TBSP = 135cals)

Total = 1880cals
Carbs = 104grams

Non-Training

8 servings of Protein (80CC) – 200grams of protein and 36grams of carbs = 960cals
9 servings of milled flax seeds (9 TBSP) – 33grams of carbs = 480cals
Udo’s Oil – 17grams – 1.1TBSP’s = 153cals

Total = 1593cals
Carbs – 69grams

If there's any errors please let me know, i'm basically learning on the fly.

More changes, after looking at my milled flax seeds nutrition data i decided to increase the servings to get over 20grams of fiber/day. However, i didn't realized it had so much protein. About 18 altogther. So i decided just to concentrate on total cals and carbs and not sweat the ratios.

If I remember right (it's been awhile since I went through the diet) Shuggart didn't exceed 100 grams of carbs on any of his days including training days.

He didn't use ephedrine because he knew it would be illegal in Jan '05.. So he didn't use prohormones either. But said the diet would be better with both.

Well, i got up today and was just about to get some oatmeal or something and got a call from the local gas station and my first batch of protein had arrived VIA courier. So i'm on the diet.

I took one scoop of the tasty banana flavored protein and 3TBSPs of flax seeds. I was suprised that the protein came in a bag so i had to go through my garbage to get one of my old tubs.

The Diet Begins..

Day 1 - Not having much trouble with hunger, i guess the flax seeds has alot to do with that and the protein blend i have.

Just finished my first workout of The Waterbury Method but i didn't include the arm excercises, besides being smashed from the squats i have a tweaked shoulder so i decided to pass on the curls and skull crushers.

Full Squat - 4x3@237, 6x3@231 - 70sec intervals
Decline DB press(light) - 2x12@50, 90sec
BB Rows - 4x6@147, 90sec
Hanging Leg raises - 3x8, 60sec

A little tired today but i took a nap and i'm fine now. More Hungry today then yesterday but not that bad.

The last 1.5days or so i have only consumed 122carbs, i think i'm good for 20+ pounds of weightloss if i can stick to it for 4 weeks. I believe alcohol will be my biggest obstacle thou but i might have 2 nights over the 4week period, we'll see.

Some studies show that it takes 3 to 4 weeks to break bad habits so besides getting lean i might be able to cutdown on my drinking, i enjoy drinking but i do go overboard too often.

Also, performed 30min of fasted cardio this morning which was easier with the ephedrine.

All in all going pretty well, everthou this diet looks hardcore with the right supplments its not so bad has it looks but of course that could change.....

Keep us updated on how you're doing with the weights, like were your numbers for the day good, average, crappy... etc, just wondering.. You're gonna be shredded.

Newf, have you thought about taking some aminos or a protein shake before your morning cardio rather than fasted state? Anabol Naturals make a great sublingual, powdered amino formula.

I think i might take alittle bit of my protein blend but i'm not interested in buying anymore supplements. My next fitness related purchase might be precision nutrition, have you heard any reviews on it?

How much did that cost you for the month?

I dont think I could manage such an extreme diet.
3 years ago I went on the milk diet, lasted about 6hours.

newf - Good luck with the diet and training. It can be difficult at times.

According to your schedule this is day 3 and your 2nd training day. How was the day in and out of the gym? How did your strength feel? Did you feel tired throughout the day? I think it was about day 3 that mreik decided the strength loss wasn't worth continueing the diet.

I noticed variations in your training from the outlined Waterbuy Method program. I'm just curious why you made the changes..?

As you can see some of us are watching this thread with hopes that you have successful results.

Personally, I had a hard time with the diet as mreik did. Losing strength can have a negative psychological effect sometimes.
