I must say that Quaker Mini Rice Cakes Ranch flavor are the bomb! I will never have to go back to Doritos. 10 minis have 70 calories FYI.

So the diet has been ok, Christmas Eve we went to the Olive Garden for my 1 meal (in addition to breakfast) per week. I probably ate way too much haha. Plus a candy here and there, tis the season.

Today I did my first workout since last Thursday. My gym is closed until Jan 2 so I worked out at home with resistance bands.

14 Stairs ~ 2 step jump to top with bear climb down x 2

Set 1
Squats w/ Red band - 20 Then went to squat with red and OHP with yellow - 2x20
Cross downward chop w/ green - 15, 2x20
Pushups w/red - 3x15

Set 2
Sitting Row w/red - 3x20
Pullthrough w/green - 3x20
Deadlift w/red - 1x20 then dl w/shrug - 2x20

20 jumping jacks and 10 jack knife situps to finish

This was a killer workout.

Ill check my weight in the morning maybe, but Saturday is actually the 1 week mark.

and as for the weights, i was just curious what your lifts in pounds looked like. how much you bench, deadlift, squat, etc. Was just curious, didn't want to make it sound so personal.

But its cool, i looked back a few pages and saw what i was lookin for

So I updated my meal plan to allow me to follow my plan easier. I added in a second meal in the evening consisting of egg whites, pepperoni, and a piece of toast. I am 100 calories over my goal so will try to remove some of the butter.

Will probably try out my new Asics Gels tomorrow morning.

I miss your articles that you used to post once in a while, TM. The pepperoni is interesting, why eat this? In addition, what are Asics Gels?

Asic Gel shoes. They are gel soled for superior comfort. The turkey pepperoni is amazingly tasty on the bread with the eggs. Its nice and spicy and is low in cals. 17 slices is only 70 cals.

I will try to get more articles up, I know I have been slacking. I havent actually been reading which is a shame.

I will see if they have that kind of pepperoni at my local grocery store, that sounds terrific. Thank you for the insight.

This was a killer workout.

So New Years Day was a good food day. If you have a Grand Lux restaraunt near you, check it out. Its expensive but freaking delicious. I recommend the Salisbury Steak or Pot Roast. The V Diet doesnt really agree with my lifestyle.
 
Couldn't stick with the v-diet huh? It is tough, more mental than anything...
