Heather: Hope you can make it to the gym and find that you enjoy it. That just might be the boost you need to get that scale moving.

Jerome: Great job on completing the exercise bonus for the week. It's all gravy after that.

I'm without my car tomorrow, my husband's car is in the shop and he's taking mine so I wont be able to get myself to the gym. Instead I'm planning a long workout at home between the bike and my aerobics tapes.

Hi Everyone,

How's everybody's week going? I've been working hard but the scale hasn't budged yet. I don't normally weigh myself during the week but I was curious to see where I was at.

I'm going to workout in a little while, pull my Tae Bo tape out for a good at home workout. Then I'll hit the gym tomorrow for a nice long cardio session. Hopefully by Saturday the scale will show a loss, even if it's only 1lb.

Don't worry if the scale doesn't show a loss, maybe it's just water... You still got tonight and tomorrow :) I guess that your long cardio session of tomorrow will influence your weight in a good way!
 
Great job everyone !

Only two more weeks left. I have already passed my goal weight for the challenge. I've lost 11.1 lbs so far so it looks like I'll qualify for that bonus for us!

Congrats MidGaGuy on exceeding your goal already!

I'm hoping to be at my challenge goal at tomorrow's weigh-in. I really worked my butt off at the gym today, ran for 90 minutes on the treadmill and did 30 on the elliptical. I hope it pays off.
 
Whew, I made it! As of this morning's weigh-in I'm down another lb for a total of 9lbs since the challenge started, which brings me to my goal weight for this challenge. I can also say goodbye to the 150's and hello 140's, YAY. Next stop, 130's, lol.
 
Congrats to Geam, Thekrinse and MidGaGuy for reaching your goal!!! I'm still 6 lbs away from mine and 14 days to go... Seems like I'm gonna spend most of my free time in the gym :)
 
Hey Guys,

I got my 3 hours of exercise in for the week already, including 1 30 minute strength training session. I'll get the second one in either tomorrow or Tuesday. Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

Hey everyone.. hope you all are doing well on this challenge. well i am doing pretty good as far as workouts and such. Between doing my main workouts and then running around like mad trying to finish christmas shopping and school shopping before i start school january 21st its been crazy.. anyways... i finally had a good weigh in so lets hope it continues.. On Saturday my weight was 234.8 which is down from the last weeks so i was very happy about that. anyways... gotta jet but will see you all soon.

You put your weight as 243.8 in your stats, but I caught it. I figured you wouldn't say woohoo for a big gain like that..lol--unless you were being sarcastic. :D

Excellent! With my workouts normally including strength training, I have the bonus locked in for this coming week for us, too! I do have to try hard to keep the weight loss coming as I really did not expect to even hit the goal by the end of the whole run, but already have.

Hey everyone.. right now i am going to be hitting the gym at least 2-4 times a week maybe more if hubby wants to go. I think he said he was wanting to go like 4-5 times a week just depends on how tired he is since he just started school last night and then has a paper route on top of that too.. lol

anyways i am now going to be hitting the gym more often so hopefully this gets the weightloss jumpstarted again besides my exercise that i do here at home...

My future weightloss plans are to continue what I've been doing and hopefully keep averaging around 2lbs per week in loss.



I've enjoyed this challenge and want to thank all my teammates for puttng forth such hard work in this challenge.

My goal right now it going to be to try to lose but maintaining will be good too as long as i don't gain.


I will be extremely happy but sad at the same time as i still haven't reached my goal but hubby and i are going to kick things up and start working out each week for an hour a day doing 30 minutes of cardio and then 30 of st each day and on the weekends doing swimming since we can take the little one.

wow can't believe the challenge is almost over.. time has flown by. and I'm very thankful that i have had the time and effort put in from team mates for this challenge and hope i showed you guys just as much effort on my part.

Week 7 Bonus:
My goal is to maintain and better yet increase my workout. The holidays and new year is usually a very stressful time for me. So I defintely have to make sure this is a priority for me. This challenge has really helped me stay motivated and I want that to continue after it's over. And of course I wouldn't mind losing some more weight along the way. :)
I plan to get on a more structured work out schedule and stick to it. Not just workout at the last minute or when I have the extra time, like I tend to do at times.

Hey all hope you are doing well this week. I can't believe the challege is almost over.. it went by so fast. anyways.. i am now down to 232.6 so i updated my ticker... lol even though thats not what i weighed on saturday... i am hoping to reach 230 by the end of the challenge even though that wasn't my original goal.

Week 7 Bonus

Over the holidays I hope to maintain. I have been busy lately and have not been able to get to the gym much. I do not think there are many big events with food and whatnot that I need to really watch. My biggest trouble will be the daily grind and watching portion sizes.

After I get back in town after Christmas at my parents I hope to hit the gym a good number of times. My goal of 240# by Feb 29 is fast approaching. I know I will be extrememly busy in February at work (we have three big systems with major upgrades scheduled) and will surely have a tough time eating healthy meals and getting excercize.

Well, I petered off at the end of the challenge, but did meet my goal. Overall I got us 193 points by losing 11 pounds (4% of my starting weight). Hopefully that will get us some 50-points-per-% action.

I hope everyone finishes out the year well and starts next year with as much inspiration to keep going!

I ended up losing 5.64% from where I started.
