To win a BodyBuilding competition.

Been on this forum a while so i mite as well create a journal...not sure what i am gonna include just my diet and how my workouts go i guess. So yeah as the title says this is a journal for one day winning a bodybuilding comp :eek: I will add to it when ever i feel like i have something to say or yeah want to get of my chest :)

At the moment i weigh in at 75kg and 6.1 feet tall

I bench 25 KG for 15-10-6 reps
I curl 30 kg for 15-12-8 reps

Ill keep you posted on how things go :)
 
Good to see an ambitious goal. Do you have any plan on how to get there? Do you have a time frame for doing this?

You say you bench 25kg? so thats like an olympic bar with 2x2.5kg plates at each side?

Or do you mean 25kg at each side of the bar? :p

lol nah just 12.5 each side...the bar i use weighs so much tho! my uncle thinks there is 20 kg on each side on just the bar :confused:
 
How much do you squat and deadlift? Remember the judges in a competition look for symmetry overall. Only posting your bench and curl leads me to believe your wheels are lacking.

yup my legs are lacking very much so...its hard for me to do any kind of leg exercise together other then runing/walking after my operation because all the muscle in my right leg has gone. trying to get it strong enough to start doing sqauts and leg press again....never done deadlifts on what day should i include them?
 
Havent worked out for 3 days because all the laboring i was doing plus working out really owned my body so i have had a bit of a break...going to the gym today tho :) I havent been able to do arms very well because my forearms hurt like hell for some reason ???
 
Westside for Skinny Bastards. I would suggest some heavy accessory work to get your key points strong for the compounds.

Its funny, with all the homosexual references made in your posts lately, as I type this I see an ad for realjock.com above the quick reply box. Its the first Ive seen it, and it says "Fitness for gay guys by gay guys."

lol that has been here since like forever! cant beleave you haven't seen it yet. I think its strange there is fittnes for gay guys??? wtf is diferent then a strait guys workout? they do womens workouts?

Shoulders today...On the way there all the traffic lights where not working and when i got inside the power was out with no music and t.v playing everywhere it was strange! Any way i seriously owned myself today :p First time i have had that gut sickness in a couple months. Dident lead to throwing up like some of the other times thank god :p

anyways, get on squatting and deadlifting! Hope the journal goes ok! Would you mind posting how your workout looks like? Not just the days, but the exercises you typically do aswell?

Curling 30 on both BB and DB
I do 17.5/20kg DB for bench

Exercises i do are Lat pulldowns, weighted rows, bentover rows, BB and DB curls and DB hammer curls, Shoulder press, The exercise where you hold to DB and move your hands above your head for shoulders, DB shrugs, And a machine where i have to push down with my shoulders lol forget what its called, BB and DB bench, Cable crossovers and the machine which is like cable crossovers, Tricep pushdowns with a rope and also the one where you have a BB and lay on a bench and let it go behind your head and let your forearms lift it back followed by close grip bench. I have forgot so many of the names lol I really havent got back into legs because i use to do them on shoulders but i am so ****ed after shoulders that i cant do legs...I should probably make a seperate leg day

You need to get a routine with lots of good compound movements. If I were you I'd put together something with the different days, exercises and set/reps. Do you have a lot of variety? Or do you pretty much do the same every leg day, back day, etc?

I dont know what compound movements are :confused: and yeah i tend to do the same exercises every day for back or whateva but i change the reps up or sets
