The Tattooed Lady

Today is the first day of my new birth control. I quit the depo and changed to the pill. Again one of the side effects is weight gain, but I'm not gonna let that get the best of me. I've changed my eating habits, so now I know what to do.

And that puts you in control of the food, not vice versa. This way if your weight does go up you'll know it's from the pill, and not your eating habits. (Small comfort I know, but it's something).

It's a good way of looking at it. Never thought about it. Any comfort will be excepted...:D

I spent 2 hrs moving/cleaning more stuff. I made 2 trips to m&d apt and a trip home with some stuff. Tomorrow is more moving of big stuff and shed. I got a good workout so I'm happy, but now I'm ready for a nap.

The leftovers are finally gone, so I need to cook again. Hmmm..lots of recipes so don't know where to start. M&D are coming down tomorrow, so I probably won't keep track, but will post what I eat. Tomorrow is also weigh-in so we'll see what happens.

M&D is not coming down like planned. Weather is just to bad for they are to risk it, so it's back to normal Saturday.

I started to keep my fitday but gave up on it. Tomorrow I'll get back to my normal routine. Today was good. Did eat good and supper was chinese. I didn't eat very much of it because there was soo much of it, but I'm not sure of how much leftover wise I'm going to eat of it. Going to have a ice cream bar for dessert later. All the pop is gone so I'm going back to my tea again.

What a sight

OMG, thank god nobody saw it or at least I hope. I left DG and thought I had sat on something when I got in my car but I didn't feel anything so I headed to the grocery store and when I bent down to pick something up, I heard a rip. I knew my pants had ripped but I didn't know how bad. I had to finish my shopping and when I bent down again, I heard another rip. My shirt and coat wasn't long enough to cover it so I quickly lef the store and by the time I got home and took my pants off, my jeans had ripped out my left butt cheek. There's no way of fixing it so looks like I have to get another pair...

I had a pair of my jeans rip the other day.
They ripped right below my butt, but it looks good.
especially when i wear my ugg boots and furry jacket :D

I've seen people on here say instead of having an orange, drink orange juice instead. I bought oj, even though it's flavored (i.e. pineapple orange) and I've also bought pineapple juice. My question is why are they so high in carbs? I thought drinking oj was good for you...

? I've seen the opposite actually - that when choosing between an orange and orange juice to take the former as the nutrients are more concentrated and less processed.
