I bombed at lunch and supper was soo much better. Today is my "Girls Day Out Lunch" with another mom from school. I'm looking forward to it. Gives me somebody else to talk to besides Ash. Adult Conversation...WhooHoo...:D

Glad you got some "me" time SHe. I stayed home when my twins were babies, I remember counting the minute until my hubby would come home and talk to me. I had 3 under 2 and that point lol
 
Oh honey...I'd be counting the seconds down too. It was nice having a adult conversation, plus the chinese food was good too.
 
This morning has been busy. Went to the hospital to have Ash's blood drawn, went the medicaid office for her insurance, and plus it's fundraising time so I've been going to family and friends to see if they would buy anything. I need to go to three people today after I drop her off at school, plus my mom and dad are coming down this weekend, so more selling this weekend. There is one person I need to see next tuesday and then I'm leaving the stuff with my aunt at her beauty shop to see if anybody of her customers want anything. :D
 
After I dropped Ash off at school, it was on to more selling. I went to 2 more people, but Greene's mom wasn't home. After I got done selling, I went to the glass company and dropped off couple stuff to get glass put in/replaced.

Ash has a haircut at 4:30 since school pictures are tomorrow and I'm also working at school tomorrow and Friday. Then I have to come home and cook supper.

Whew..what a day..:D

Food wise, I completely bombed at lunch since I didn't have the turkey burgers like I thought and supper probably won't be any better, unfortunately.
 
Supper was half-ass healthy. I had hamburger helper and peas. I know people are shaking their heads right now saying why won't she listen and shaking their fists.

Breakfast was better..cheerios and protein bar. Maybe lunch can be the turkey burgers that I had planned. Hopefully supper can be better tonight than it was last night.

I need to go to the store either today or tomorrow. I'll defintely look over the list that LV gave in another section.
 
Lunch was 2 turkey burgers and 2 string cheese with a big quart cup of tea. Woo-Hoo, I finally got the lunch right.

Supper is planning to be chicx and vegetables stirfry, so woo-hoo on getting supper right too.
 
Today and tomorrow I volunteer at school. I'm getting used to it, but it's weird to hear "Mrs. Shonk" instead of "AshleyRose's mom", but I'll get used to it.

Today was picture day. Some of the boys/girls dressed up and some just wore nice outfits.

Tomorrow night is the school carnival. It's from 5:30-8:30. I'm gonna try to be there at 5:30, but don't know if I can make it. Greene won't be home til 6 or so, so I'm thinking cook supper and put it in the fridge so I can make it, but something tells me I don't think I can get away with that.
 
I did it again. I got supper right, no junk!!:) It was the chix and stir-fry vegetables, plus I made greenbeans with bacon, but I didn't cook the bacon long enough. We froze umpteen 2qt bags of beans, so we have plenty to cook.

The only problem was I had seconds, which is the next thing to work on. I need to go back to eating one plate and waiting to see if I'm still hungry.
 
Today was another busy day. I did load of laundry, went to the copy store to make a copy, went to dollar general and volunteered at school today.

I almost made my goal about not eating out everyday, but failed today since I went to subway for lunch. I did get one of the subs under 5 grams of fat and put lettuce, pickles, green peppers, banana peppers, light mayo on it. The bread could have been better choice since it was cheddar bread.

Tonight is the school carnival, so don't count on supper being good either, but I'll try.

Went shopping today but forgot the list, but managed to get some of the stuff on the list. I didn't buy any junk, but Ash wanted some raisin bagels.
 
Hey She,

Looks like you are trying to make some changes, I have a suggestion on the seconds, I drink a couple glasses of water before I eat, fills you up and slows you down. I also wonder if you needed more protien during the day and when you got to dinner you were starved. What are you doing for exercise right now?

Missy..no weight machine anymore, but I know I need to get back to it. I lost my motivation. Just housework and walking 2 blocks to get her off the bus.
 
I was thinking, if my goal was not to eat out everyday, then I did make my goal. Next week I'll make my goal only one day a week, if I'm still having my mom's day out. If not, I'll make it my goal not to eat out at all.

That's possible, but I think it's mainly more willpower than anything else. I just need to learn it.

Speaking of willpower, my mom and dad are coming down today, so we all know how well I do when they are here. This weekend will be a good day to test myself.
 
Glad to see I am not the only one up at 7am on a Saturday lol I think you can do it She. You just need to stay strong and take baby steps. I also think that a walking schedule that got your heartrate up for at least 30 minutes would really help you too. Unfortunately, housework burns calories but does not do it as efficiently or with the cardio effects that help you lose weight and get into shape. I don't know about you, but I really struggle to fit this in, but I have found it is possible, you just have to commit to it.
 
Ah yes..finding time, which I do have after I drop her off at school, to do walking and what not. I have about 3 hrs before she gets home to do what I wish with. That's the perfect time to do exercise then. I volunteer at the school two days week, but I have 3 days off.
