The Tattooed Lady

I sat out to do good, but it bombed horribly. I did good for me at the buffet yesterday. I only went for salad, lunch plate, and dessert. I know it sounds like alot, but 3 times is really good for me.

Supper was an Itailian restaurant...:D :D :D That was the bomb of food.

I know I caved this weekend, but I have 3 days next week where I'm not in at the school. My goal this week is to walk for 30 minutes like Sparrow suggested.
 
Tonight I chose the good things for supper..:D Steak, cottage cheese, bread and string cheese. The bread was a honey whole wheat made from whole wheat. I've finally found bread I can eat..:D

Tried to take Ash to the bowling alley but the bumper lanes were full because of a birthday party, so I'll see what the hours are tomorrow. Maybe we can go then.

Lunch wasn't the greatest, protein bar and piece of pizza. Could have picked better, but it was depending on the bowling alley.

Walked 6 blocks to my apt then 500 feet or so to the creek down the road. Also played at the park, so some walking there.

It's raining right now, so we'll see how it goes tomorrow with my walking.
 
It rained all day, so no walking. Swept the floor, bathroom floor, cleaned the bird's cage, did the dishes, and went to get crickets but they were out.

Tried to take Ash to the bowling alley, but they were closed. Gonna go back when it opens, but I have a feeling they're having leagues going on so probably won't be able to bowl today either.

Breakfast was 2 eggs and toast with sugar free blackberry jelly and lunch was a salad. Was going to have a chicken breast but got side tracked, so ended up having p.b., pickles and banana for a snack. Not sure what to have for supper. That'll depend on the bowling alley. Getting hungry now, but not sure what to have. Need something light. I'll probably have a protein bar.
 
Finally made it to the bowling alley. We bowled 3 games. Her scores were 46, 61, 47. Mine were 81, 81, 118. We had a good time and she really really enjoyed it. She wanted to know when we can go again.
 
I did good at supper..no junk. Baked chicken, corn on the cob, cottage cheese. I didn't have seconds..:D and I wasn't hungry afterwards. A good goal for the week is not to have seconds.

Weight - 186.something. Don't remember the number and I just weighed myself 5 minutes ago. Damn the old age...:D Another goal is not to be a slave to the scale this week.

I went to the store yesterday to get Greene his doughnuts and I haven't touched one. It looks good, but I know I can't have one. That takes major willpower and I've so far I have overcame that. :), but it's only Tuesday..:D Another goal for the week.

I'm not going out to eat this week because the other mom can't make it this week, so I'm working on my goal for not going out to eat this week for lunch. 1 day down, 4 to go.

Oh my god I could NOT have doughnuts in the house and not eat at least one. The only way for me to eat well is not to have anything like that in the house. You must have iron willpower, girl!
 
Today was overall a very, very good day. I woke up hungry, so I decided to eat breakfast before I took my morning nap. Don't know if that was good or bad. Breakfast was a bagel with fat free cream cheese and a bowl of berry cheerios. Wasn't hungry when I got up from my nap, so I thought was a good thing.

Did couple of errands and was hungry about 10:45a and I didn't want lunch quite yet but fed Ash before she went to school. I had a salad with fat free french dressing, 2 kiwi's and nectrine. When I got back home from dropping Ash off at school, lunch was steak, baked potato and cottage cheese.

I decided to go out for a walk before Ash got home from school and walked for about 45 minutes. It was nice day for it. When Ash got home, there was a thing in her folder for one free item from Wendy's, so we went and I didn't have anything. I was going to go home and cook supper. Greene said he was going to stop at Wendy's for supper, so I'm like Oh my god, what about my goal??? I've decided to have a side salad fat free dressing and a small bowl of chili, so I don't think I made a bad choice for supper. I know I could have chose worse things to eat.

Now the bad part, when I was out doing my errands, I did give into my willpower and had a small frozen coke and when I was trying to decide what protein/energy bar I wanted to eat before Ash and I left for the restaurant, I picked up a low carb half of a hershey bar instead, so needless to say, I'm hungry and supper won't be for another hour to hour 1/2...:(

Oh well, tomorrow is another day.
 
Really wasn't hungry when I woke up but went ahead and ate breakfast anyway. It was cheerios and bagel again. Don't think I'll get any again for awhile when those are gone.

Lunch was the rest of the steak, baked potato, and cottage cheese. Need to get more cottage cheese when I go to the store again. Today was a field trip to the library. It was fun and the children learned about apples. The field trip was also walking, so I got my exercise in today. We walked about 19 blocks or so.

Supper is going to be the meatloaf that I didn't make last night. Think I'm gonna make corn with it. I'll probably make a potato for Greene, but I won't eat one since I already had one.

On the way back from the library, we passed one of the local ice cream joints and the manager came outside and treated us to a ice cream cone. I couldn't pass up free ice cream, so I went for it. I had chocolate...:D

The mom that I go out and eat lunch with is free this Friday, so we made plans to have some bbq at a local restaurant....:D

I'm not sure if I can make my goals this week, but I honest to god did try my best. I know today is only Wednesday, but it looks like I'm not gonna make it.

I couldn't read half of your diary, bc it was making me hungry....and it's still an hour before dinner. :rolleyes:

Keep your eyes on the prize! You can do it! Other than the occassional slip, you are making great choices! Keep it up! :D
 
You and I can commisserate on the damn cravings and cavings. :) IT's nice to know I'm not the only one who can't always resist!
 
Last night for a snack I had pb, banana, pickle. MMM, so good. I had it again tonight.

Breakfast was a bagel and juice. Was running low on milk so I saved it for Ash, but she didn't have any. Went to the store and picked up more..so cereal for me in the morning..:D

Lunch was good. I talked myself out of fast food. I came home and had chicken, pineapple and string cheese. Worked at the school today, so now major workout. Just some housework when I got home before supper.

Supper was porkchop, potato, and corn. I didn't have my usual bbq sauce because I had it at lunch.

Tomorrow is Friday. We'll see if I made any of my goals.
 
I was so proud that I didn't give into my cravings...:D

Today is Friday...:D It's raining cats and dogs here, so no walking outside. I'll see what happens to get my exercise.

It's also my lunch with the mom at school. I can't wait. The bbq is sounding so good. Think I'll go eat my breakfast.

Not sure what's for supper yet. I have all day to figure it out. I'm thinking something to do with turkey smoked sausage. I'll thinking of rice or peppers with it.
