I love that!

I went to my job interview today, but I didn't get the job. It was for an agent to sell insurance. I'm little bummed because I kindof looked forward to doing something different, but there are more jobs out there. I actually have another job interview tomorrow working for Hallmark, Inc in retail stores. The job is about 20 minutes away, but I set my own hours as long as I go in during the day. I believe it's 3 days/wk, but I'm not sure. We'll see how it goes.

Calories wise, I'm at 1331. I'm still working on my 2000/day but it seems to be more between 1500-1700/day, but that's ok. It gives me room to play with.

Sorry to hear about the job, but you are right...when it's right, it will happen. I hear Hallmark does a good job of taking care of their employees anyway:) Hopefully that one will go better:) *hugs*

Didn't get my cardio in like I had planned, but there's always tomorrow.

Food

Pre Workout - scoop powder protein (100), milk (120) = 220

Post Workout - 3 scrambled eggs (225), 1/3 cup cheese (110) = 335

Lunch - chicken salad (396), tbsp mayo (70), .5 cottage cheese (90), tortillia (50) = 606

Snack - 18 pretzels (120), 5 tsp honey mustard (50) = 170

Supper - 2 turkey hotdogs (140), 2 whole wheat bread (80), .5 baked beans (150), .5 cottage cheese (90) = 460

Grand total = 1791

All in all, I think today was a good day. Tomorrow, I might my chicken salad w/no tortillias. I'm gonna end up buring myself out of it for awhile. I made alot and it's only the second day of it. Guess I could eat it more than only one meal.:D Next on my list to make is tuna salad.

Edit: Snack - string cheese (100), milk (120) = 220

Good job today! Especially on the pre and post workout meals.. your muscles must be soooo happy! (I always like to pretend my muscles are thanking me while I eat protein post workout. LOL.) Work it girl!

Day 4

Decided to do my cardio after I dropped my daughter off at daycare. I was doing really good, had my groove on, and decided to take a fall and scrap up my knee. I didn't take any of my protection except my wrist guards, ooppss!! I usually don't fall, but you never know. I scraped up my right skate some, but only my pride that hurts. I did 2 short laps and came home. Need to eat and get ready for my interview, but I ended up doing about 1/2 hr worth. I'll try to get out again later, but not sure if I'll have enough time.

As for the my weight, I forgot about it and drank a protein shake, so it's probably not right:

185 (I sometimes have a hard time reading it..need a digital one)

then for grins, thought I would check it when I got back:

184 (looks like)

Now assuming this is right, is it possible to lose a pound just doing cardio?

Can I just tell you, you inspired me!! I love to roller blading as well, but cant use the brakes!! lol!! So it keeps me from ever going, although I have a track thats safe from cars so I could just throw myself on the grass if need be! I hate doing cardio, and you reminded me that skating would be a great way to get it in, THANKS! :D

I can't use the brakes either so that's why I go somewhere that doesn't require lots of stops and hills. I like the park because it's easy, only 2 stop signs, not that busy. I also drive there and put my gear on there and take off. So much much easier that way.

THe problem with that is is that when the skates hit the grass and they stop, I would probably keep going and end up with a green grass stain on my fore head:eek:

Hahaha, yeah that would probably happen to, or it could be a chain reaction...knees, then face. hey as long as its done gracefully;)
