The Tattooed Lady

Today was a productive day. I swept the living room/gym area, boxed up tapes and books and put them next to the t.v. (we had to get rid of the cardenza for the new t.v.), picked up and swept Ash room, put up the laundry and took the dry of the line, picked up the kitchen. The only thing left is to some odds and ends in the kitchen and put up the clothes that I just took down.

My back is hurting and not sure why. Maybe it was the weights, maybe it was all the housework. Probably take couple asprin later, depending on how I feel.

Food

Breakfast - 3 eggs (225), 1/3 c cheese (110), milk (120) = 455

Lunch - .5 tuna (360), 21 pretzels (110), cheese stick (110) = 580

Supper - cup stir-fry vegetables (50), 4z chx (125), potato (150), 1/2 tbsp butter (30) = 355

Snack - 21 pretzels (110), cheese stick (110) = 220

Grand total = 1610

Can't seem to get 1500, but I'm so not worried about it. I'm not meant to that much right now, but in time I will.

This morning I tried one of my workout tapes. It had a combo of aerobics, toning, and bonus 7 minute yoga. Realized some things a) no rhythm and b) no coordination, but I believe I'll eventually get some, maybe, right? I know the more I do it, the more I'll get the steps. It the first time I did Yoga. I like it. I might be able to get into that one.

As for my weight, you guessed it, down another 2 pounds...180. I keep thinking that I'm seeing the scale wrong, but I can't be because of my eating. It works, it really works:D

Now that I'm done jumping up and down for joy and shouting from the roof tops..everybody have a good day or try to have a good one.

Congrats Sheri - success is the best motivator in the world. If you're looking into yoga dvd's, I'd suggest AM/PM Yoga with Rodney Yee. The AM part is mainly stretching, and the PM part is the workout. Keep up the good work.

Congrats she!!! And hey dont worry about the coordination thing, it will come. I used to be the worlds most uncoordinated person, I couldnt even do a step-touch and move my arms at the same time..LOL

I'm back. It was a very interesting weekend. I'll have to get back on track very soon from everything I ate. I would say this weekend, but my mom and dad are coming down, so I don't see that happening, but never say never.

When we got to Indy, we went skating for about 2 hrs. I thought I was going to die by the time we got back to the hotel, but it was a good skate.

For supper last night, I had 3 slices of pizza, 2 breadsticks and 5 pieces of chocolate. I think I ate too much, but it was oh so good. For breakfast this morning, I had bowl of oatmeal, yogurt cup, mini blueberry muffin, cottage cheese and Ash bagel. All in all I don't think that was too bad. When we got about hr away from home, I ended up having a McDonald's double hamburger and a medium diet. Wasn't the greatest choice, but when you're on the road, you do what you can.

I'm not going to weigh myself until Monday. Don't want to depress myself.

I lost my life at Trader Joe's

OMG, you have to hear this story, but mind you Indianapolis is 2 hrs away. While we were in Indy, I spied a Trader Joe's. I thought I would go in and check it out. I love that store. So much food, but little high in prices. I ended up buying $21 worth of food. Anyway, I left the store and headed home and as soon as we got almost home (about hr away or so), I realized I left my wallet in the store, 2 hrs away. Talk about freaking out:eek:    :eek: Everything was in there, my license, bank card, everything.

Luckily Greene was still in Indy and he's going to pick it up before he comes home. Greene comes thru and saves me again.

Sounds like something that I would do. Glad you got everything back. I agree that travel can wreak havoc on your eating plans. I spent a week in Phoenix for a conference in June.....won't tell you what I ate there ;-)

Missy

I can only imagine what you ate, but the food is oh so good.

Oh yea..forgot to put in the 3 cups of coffee that I drank w/breakfast.

LOL!!! That is something I would do, glad to know Im not the only one who can be forgetful around here;) Ive done so many goofy things its not even funny anymore

I'm usually not that forgetful, but that's really bad when I left it 2 hrs away, but anyway, I had to go rescue Greene last night. His tire blew coming home and pulled over at a truck stop to change the tire but he didn't have any tools w/him, so the neighbor's and I took some tools to him. I'm so happy he's home, but he's gotta go back to Indy again Monday and might have to stay overnight.

Ah yes last night I realized that you don't drink 6 smirnoffs in 2 hours. OMG, I slept downstairs on the couch w/the wastebasket close by. I'm defintely not doing that again. That was painful.

Today was a busy day. I froze 20 bags of corn on the cob (7 dozen) and probably 10-15 bags of green beans(spose to be a bushel, but not sure). I did the dishes and still trying to figure out what to have for supper. Geez, corn and green beans..lol.

Had a good visit w/mom and dad. Ate too much and wasn't healthy at all. Tomorrow I'll get back on track.

Greene is going back to Indy tomorrow, so we had a great time last night just the two of us. You don't know how much you appreciate and miss the person until they gone for long periods of time. We needed this to help our relationship. He's thinking of staying in Indy during the week and coming home on the weekends:( but you have to do what you have to do.

Mom and dad will get you everytime without fail.

Mom: Honey have some of these cookies
Me: Mom, I told you unless special occasion I can't have the cookie
Mom: are you eating (to dad) HONEY I DONT THINK SHE IS EATING
Me: Mom, I swear I am eating , I eat 5 times a day.
Mom: (to my dad) Is that the binge thing they are talking about, omg are you binging?
Dad: Honey just eat the cookie before you have to join a group
Me: *grabs cookie and donates it to local widelife outside*
