Day 2

It's 7:05a and the house is quiet. Greene left for Indy today for his job training and will not be back until Thursday night. I'll be counting the days down until his return and here on the blog too. Unfortuanately next week he'll be gone all week again going to Indy:( Ash is at daycare. Will have to pick her up before 5p.

The plan is to do some cardio today and the usual housework stuff plus few things here and there that Greene wants me to do.

The neighbor has offered Ash and I to come over if we get lonely. Might have to take her up on the offer. Tonight I promised Ash a girl's night out. The restaurant is Jiffy Treat, generic Dairy Queen. It's ok..they have salads, so I will be having one of those. Their taco salad's are good, but I'm planning to have a chef salad.

Weighed myself this morning..it stayed at 184, which is very surprising since no cardio, but that's ok. It's only day 2.
 
girls night out sounds fun - how old is she? I have two boys and sometimes long for a little girl:) Good for you on already prepping yourself for that salad - it's probably good to get it in your head early.
 
I just got back from the store and the bank and I'm in the process of making some chicken salad for later:) :) Yum Yum. I was such a good girl, I passed up all of the dougnuts and cookies and only got what I needed. I couldn't find any pitas:( but I'll use my toritillas for the chicken salad. Forgot to get the grapes, but remembered the nuts and I'll probably add some raisins.

On the weird side, I picked up couple jars of baby food desserts. Just thought I would try couple. I got the hawaiian delight and dutch apple. I've heard they were good, but it's been 5 years, so we'll see.:eek: :eek: :eek:
 
I had the chicken salad for lunch. It is good, but it's a little dry. I followed the directions to keep the calories down, but I would at least one more tablespoon of mayo. We'll see how it is thru the week.

My cardio was about 45 min. It was sooo hot out there, but I pushed myself to do one more lap. I skated around the park a total of 7 laps, 3 around the long track and 4 around the short track. My mp3 player kept messing up, so I was ready to quit by that time, but I stayed on track and did it, granted it was probably over 100 degrees again.

While I was out there, a gentleman called me about setting up an interview tomorrow, so at 1:00 my time..wish me luck. We'll see how it goes.
 
Well, I honestly started out to be good at supper. I stayed away from all the fried foods. I did have the salad, but it was the taco salad, but that's ok. It was tortilla chips, meat, cheese, lettuce, jalapeno peppers and sour cream, but when it came down to dessert, I lost it. I gave into my craving and had ice cream, which wouldn't have been so bad if it was sf/ff, but it wasn't. I ended up having a razzle (fake blizzard) in a 12oz cup:(. I should have just stayed with the other ice cream, so I'm using this as my cheat dessert and no more for the rest of the week.

I came home and felt so sick. I thought I was going to die. I think I ate too much at one time. Should have stuck w/the original plan, take it home and eat on it a little bit at a time, but I didn't.
 
Yep..tomorrow is another day..lol:D

Again my line comes back to bite me, but I was happy that I able to stick to some of my plan.
 
Ended up watching couple movies last night, so here's my food intake.

Breakfast - scoop protein powder (100), cup milk (120), 3 scrambled eggs (225), 1/3 c cheese (110) = 555

Snack - jar dutch apple dessert (90), light string cheese (60) = 150

Lunch - chicken salad (396), tortillia (50), 18 pretzels (120) = 566

Supper - taco sald (????), razzle (????) = ????

Grand total = 2000

I'm just guessing, but I'm probably low.
 
Day 3

Today is workout day. We'll see if anything changes weight wise. I also need to work on the house before I go to my interview. Looks like a tornado came thru it, but it always looks like it when you have a 5 year old and a st. bernard dog.

Weight - 185

I'm surprised it's not more since my little ice cream episode last night.:D
 
Thought I would start my workout with the beginning weight from Monday and step up to the next weight. That was ok until I got to the Arm Press. On the last set, I needed to jump down, but the other exercises was ok.
