The dr called and we have to go to a pedicatrican tomorrow. That's an hr drive for us. Maybe the new dr can figure out what is wrong.

Cleaned the house yesterday, so there was some exercise. Hopefully we can go to Greene's mom's house and that will be more exercise.
 
oh no, I hope everything turns out good with the Dr. I'm sure they can find out what is wrong whatever it is just remember to ask alot of questions and don't let them rush you or interrupt you if you are feeling that way then say something or you can write all your ?'s down so you don't forget !

I'm sure you will get back onto your exercise plan soon don't worry :)

But stay away from that junk food girl! And the fast food is crap don't get any of that stuff if you don't have to.

Thanks woman...I needed that. I have stayed away from the fast food. Couldn't tell you the last time I had it. I'm still eating healthy...yogurt, smoothies, oatmeal. As soon as I get back into my routine again, it'll be all good.
 
Well we have been through some hell and I have been sick but this morning we started to get back on track with strength training. Sheri was not thrilled about the idea but I badgered her into working out. She repeated the workout from about 5/22. If she does not end up sore tomorrow we will try to start building again from here.

The dr gave me a prescription to get filled that is a cream that I have to rub on my daughter's neck twice a day, but can't get it filled because none of the pharmacies here in town can make a compound, so it's off for another hr or so drive to get it filled. I have to go back in 10 days to see what's next if the cream doesn't work. The dr wants to do tests over again to see if the results are the same. She (dr) doesn't think it's sugar but she doesn't know. She also suggested a dermatologist, but I think that's the last resort. I beginning to think that nobody know what she has. I can't pronounce what I think she has, so . She has it around her neck, but no where else. It has started to go up her chin, but not very far.

Went for an 1/2 hr skate tonight. It took all Greene had to go that far. He's half-a@@ed feeling better, but he's not up to par.

B - scrambled eggs and sausage
No snack
L - steak sandwich and 2 cereal bars
S - ice cream bar (box said for dieters)
Supper - homemade chicken strips, corn on cob, rice
S - yogurt cup

What does everybody think about Lean Cuisine meals? Are they good for you like they say they are? Any suggestions for microwave meals?

Sheri has got what I had so there probably won't be any enteries here before the end of the week. :( We did go chase the tennis balls again on Sat. I hope she gets over this quick so we can play again. We are supposed to go to Holiday World Friday so she had better get better sooooooooon.


6/3 - 45min tennis
 
She may be sick but we did get out there and bat tennis balls around for about 45 - 50 minuets last evening. No strength training yet though. Sheri cannot really talk and sounds like she is whispering.

My fiance does that crap to me when I lose my voice and OOOHHH does it ever P!$$ me off !!!!!!

Went to the park last night and hit tennis balls. I know Greene loves his skating, but it's a nice change. We have Kegan this weekend, so he'll probably get his skating in.

My throat is better today, but it's not all the way better. It still hurts, but I'm not whispering, at least not yet anyway.

Hopefully next week I can get back to my workouts.
 
6/11

I had my voice back by Thursday so that was good news. Left for Friday and walked all day. Defintely got some good exercise there. It opened at 10a and closed at 7p. We left about 6p, so it was an hr shy of a full day. My daughter had a good time. She rode all the big rides except 3 roller coasters, liberty launch and the swings.

Went to hit tennis balls last night for an hour or so. More leg workout. I'm not getting any better at it, but it's fun just to get out there.

My weight has gone up:( :eek: . I need to get back at it again. I did my arms this morning, but need to get back eating healthy again.

Went to the park again for some tennis last night. Ash was the ball retriever and she hit couple balls back to Greene. We was out for about an hour and then we let her play in the park.

She had a dr appt today and the dr said not to come back unless the "rash" on her neck comes back again. While we were out..we got a new pet, a yellow parakeet. Greene always wanted a bird, so after 40 yrs he finally got one. If this one survives, we'll get another one so it can have a playmate.

Supper was steak, corn on the cob, potato, cottage cheese.
 
6/12p

Breakfast was cereal and a banana
Snack was a granola bar since we were in the car
Lunch was left over supper from last night....steak, potato, cottage cheese
No afternoon snack
Supper was stir-fry wrapped up in a tortilla, mixed-berry smoothie

I hardly drink diet pop anymore. It's usually tea or smoothies. I need to start drinking more water.
 
Do you make your own smoothies, or do you buy those yogurt company pre-bottled ones? It seems like all of the smoothie recipes that I come across are calorie- and sugar-laden.
 
I buy the Dannon Light and Fit smoothies. They have 0 fat, 70 calories,and 12g of sugar. That's about the healthiest I have found next to making my own and I haven't tried that yet.

Supper - half of grilled chicken breast, green beans, baked beans
Snack - peanut butter and banana buritto

Went inline skating tonight for 45 min or so. Planning to do tennis tomorrow night.
