CInderelly-snow is an awesome workout! Keep up the good work, I cant believe you shoveled that long

Xorie-I try to go by the theory of "frontload dont buttload" funny saying my friend made up, eat a good breakfast snack and lunch and then less in evening sicne that is when the 'junk' calories are consumed and ti doesnt get burnt off. Why not try opposite and set out a really healthy but large breakfast then see hwo rest day goes one day? You could have oatmeal, 2egg whites, 2 strips turkey bacon and a beverage then see how you do rest day? When I eat a good breakfast my whole day goes better---usually!

Omega-you seem to know what best suits you, snacking vs meals, I would go nuts feeling I had never 'eaten' LOL!

Wulsk-good job on loss,I can NEVER stick to a food plan I created day before, something always happens, how DO you do it?

well anotehr crummy day today, I did just like I had planned and took it one meal at a time and all through lunch was great, then I ahd an after lunch chocolate (being shoved around my office like crack) and then it turned into a few more and then got home to a throwing up teething baby so no chance to get dinner and hubby broke out hcips and well its down hill from there. My body is not used to so much fat and junk at once and my lack of a gallbladder makes it hard for me to absorb so now my tummy hurts--idiot me! Baby is asleep so that is good. WOrk is getting really demanding so I have to learn to take a walk instead of chocolate fix! Did well on excercise today, jogged 35 minutes and did legs, plenty of water.

Hello all - I just shovelled snow for 2 hours - we finally got our dump we have been promised and it is still snowin g- LOL...So that is my exercise...I actually dont mind it too much plus it is great exercise!!!

you're 2 hours north of me! We got hit with the snow, but then it melted... :( poo. It was fun while it lasted though! :D
 
ok so the :cuss: fnally came yesterday, finally so I can hurry and get this ove rwith, I am down 5lbs from yesterday---yeah :coolgleamA: but still weighing in +2lbs from last week. I am going to try SUPER hard to do good today and do a bit low cal then tomorrow I am going to do high protein no salt and see how the scale treats me.

little one is sick with stomach flu, praying we dont get it as well (happened in dec, nightmare) so I am off for an abbreviated work day but decided not to ax my workout as I really need it and cant let you ladies down!

Oh really I didnt know that - that is kinda cool...ya they have been calling for a major snow fall since last friday or maybe even thursday we just got it yesturday...it is pretty though...I just looked outside and it snowed agian last night...thankfully I think I can get out of the driveway with out shoveling and can wait to shovel later...

Hey mom2 - I came in to write that I have been struggling with my weight this week...Ive bene indulging a bit more lately...not alot or really anythign too bad but just stuff I shouldnt eat...I had spicey food on Monday and salty pork on Sunday...yesturday my eating was ok...Im weightin in at 229.6 this morning so I gotta be really good today and tomorrow...if anythign else I want a stay the same...my fingers are crossed for both of us...
 
Well I went to the YMCA last night. did weights for half an hour, then I did the elliptical for half and hour. I didn't think that I would still be able to go as hard as I did on the machine. But I did, burned over 400 cals and felt great afterwards!! got all my water in as well, AND had a good breakfast!!!!
 
Excellent chicky:) After I shoveled yesturday I did my weights in the evening and boy was it rough - lol - I guess after all that shoveling my body was complaining - I did weights for an hour...

Today I went to Yoga with my little one...it was brutual but good - we did a shoulder sequence...and it was so nice after the shoveling nad hte weights I was pretty sore...

Mom, I really feel for you. I have a very relaxed life-style (a useless one with other words lol) so I very much admire you - working moms! And it is good you went down 5 pounds. It is a proof it doesn't have much to do with your eating habits.

Xorie, you rock! I'm totally proud of you.

I had one hour of exercise today consisting of lots of small bits - walking, jogging, pilates, sit ups and some more. I am at the bottom of the last bottle of water and I have new low today. So it was a very successful day!
 
wulsk-yeah great job, keep up the good work! I enjoy my life now but could take a bit more 'relaxed' LOL, enjoy it while you can.

Cinderelly-I really admire your ability to fit excercise in with all you have on your plate!

Xorie-here is hoping you took one meal at a time today ( I did better) sounds like you are doing great inteh activity dept. keep it up

better here today, ate really well all day, no junk, tonight I did have 3 biscuits with my dinner but even considering I was still deficient in calories I believe today, and I did spinning today followed by stairs and then arm workout. Little one has stomach bug so here is hoping I dont get that!

good job Xorie--we CAN do this.

I am happy to report that I am *only* up +1lb today which is down frrom yesterday and I am surprised because I am still bloated, maybe I am loosing weight but bloated so once bloating is gone I will be less than last week he he he wishful thinking.

ok all please please kick butt today so my butt doesnt get booted LOL, I soooo wanted to make it to individual round!

Jumped on the scales today and havent lost anything.
So today I am drinking water, not eating any salted foods are hopefully tomorrow I'll be down 0.5lb!!

Morning ladies!

How's everyone doing? I have still been consumed with the job hunt and a bunch of other stuff - but have still managed to get my exercise and water in. I'm so nervous about eliminations - I hope none of us go.

I'll probably update my weight tomorrow morning or later tonight because I got on the scale this morning and its the same as last week.

Hi Everyone

I have been trying to get on the forum for the past 7 hours and this is the first time that I have managed to get in. I have been using three different computers. Sometimes these computer problems happen.

The good news is that I have updated my scoresheet with today's weight so all my points for the week will get counted. All my exercise was certainly done and my water has been fine for all the days completed thus far.

The bad news is that my weight is up but only by 0.6 pounds so comparitively little. If my weight improves at all I will change my scoresheet tomorrow (assuming that I can get on to the forum). The annoying thing is that I had a loss until Monday when my weight started going up again. This is water retention and something that was in many ways expected but I was hoping that it would hold off until after today's weighing.

I would encourage everyone that has weighed themselves today to enter that on the scoresheet - even if it is no better than last week. We can all update tomorrow. Any one of us can encounter emergencies like Xorie experienced last week or computer problems like I have had today. It would be sad if all our possible points were not counted.

whew! well I updated today, just in case! :D anyway, today I was walking all over my school campus (which is pretty dang big) and I think that I walked over a mile! got my exercise in! woot! and i'm working on my third bottle of water today!
 
Pinketnies - that is good to hear:)!!!

Mom2 - you wont be going it will be me...I have the lowest points than anyone - I guess from in the begininning when I wasnt loosing and that first week I didnt get all my bonus in...anyway rest assure if any goes it will be me:(

I am up so I dunno...Im up over a lb...it was been a salty spicey week plus Ive been nibbling on Pringles, bad bad bad...I will be sad to go but after this week I guess I deserve too...LOL

Hello girls,

Mom, good job! I am sure you are losing weight and soon you will register big drops. I so much hate to think that there is a possibility not to be number one team this week. We all put so much efforts so it will be a real shame!

Xorie, you are doing fantastic! I know the feeling of happiness seeing down 2 days in a row. You deserve it.

Pinkitnes, I am sure that if you stay motivated next week will be a great success!

Missblonde, it's nice to see you! Very well done not giving up weight loss project when you have all those worries. Actually this is a good strategy because you know you keep this side of your life under control and you will be more confident with your job search when you see yourself every day thiner and thiner!

Cinderelly, I LOVE PRINGLES! I have eaten 4 boxes alone in 2 days during Christmas holidays. I am not touching those until Easter now. hahah

Well, I am very delighted. Got all exercises in, all the water, my weight is excellent. The coming week will be tougher because I was losing too rapidly and also the time of the month is approaching, but I am happy with my achivements so far. I am scared from the next week bonus though. Might be something horrible. :toetap05: Hugs for all of you!
 
well I have good news (I think) I weighed in today at 147.0 which is down 1.5lbs from last week, I am saying I think though because I dont believe it is my 'true' weight, I have been eating like a hog and I just dont believe it but I weighed in at that weight 2 times consistently so I guess I will put it down. Next week is going to be a rude awakening I am afraid.

Here is to red team making a 2 week sweep!!!
 
Wulsk-I just saw the points, you GO girl, wow! Even with a + gain for TOM you will be doing well next week.
