I was the winner of the 12 pairs of various inline skate parts in an ebay auction. One pair that was in there were RB Kitalpha Alphas and they just so happened to have 248mm frames on them but they were way too small for me. It took a bit of Greenetucky engineering but I mated their frames onto my RB Lightning 05s. Not really a pretty setup but I hope good enough for a start. I may need to move the frames slightly more forward though.
To get the RBs to fit tight enough in the toe for good control I have 2 Dr Scholls 2x cushions under the liner and a footbed in the liner. I may be a little thick so I will work that out later. I have 80mm RB Extra Lites' in the center and 76mm no name wheels I borrowed from Ashley's old skates.
It was raining this evening so I only got to skate around the house. It could be interesting when I take to the street tomorrow. Now to start practicing some moves, I think I will wear all of my pads
