What tastes good to the lips, isnt necessarily good for the body...an educated mind knows better then whining body........

Your whining body will end up"thanking you for it"..........see----right there indicates the body is dumb....:)

The body whines when you dont feed it (deficit diet), but rewards you with looking better (losing wgt), feeling better.....see its dumb, that is it, stupid.......he, he :)

That was not my point. The point was why go to popeyes if you are going to remove the skin. The whole point of a fried chicken joint is that it has a tastey death coating on it. I havent had fast food in over three years with the exceptio of subway when I was on a business trip. Might as well make something at home that tastes great and is healthy instead of buying something that tastes great and taking half the taste away.

But I feel SO much better :)

I have gone like 11 straight days with 50 or less carbs and grueling practices. Man It felt so good. I will probably get in better shape after that :)

5 pizzas and diet soda. (wasn't badass pizza like pizzahut/dominos; it was homemade but still deadly)

Gonna go another streak. but I NEED my carbs. IT was like I was depriving myself.
 
OK. I'm at square one again. The cosmos were against me and I ate some brownies. My guiltmeter started going off right away, and I thought "Sh1t. I've blown it."

But then I thought "Hey, if I'm going to eat brownies, why don't I make up a batch of chocolate macaroons, too?"

So I did. And I ate 10 of them. Finished off a row of brownies, too.

All that refined sugar was surging through my bloodstream like a batch of well, sugar. Not feeling too good right now. I've got a headache :drooling1:

So we need to amend my stats :(

Due to a lack of food in the house and an incredibly intense swim session, I had to break down and buy some instant noodles just to nourish myself. I hope these don't count as junk food. If the consensus is that they do then go ahead and star my streak over.
 
LOL I am still going. My wife left for her mothers yesterday and left a half bag of Doritos for me. I don't know what she was thinking as she is normally quite vocal if she sees me eating something I should not. I immediately soaked the chips in water and thre them in the garbage. My will power would not have lasted if I didnt destroy them.
 
After 11 straight days of a near ketogenic state, consider this a carb up :)

That was a badass carb-up though.

Haven't gotten another streak going; I'm still eating whatever. But not real bad stuff: Definetely no candy, no regular soda, no chips.

I'm still in a caloric deficit nomatter what I eat it seems. Football burns so much calories.

POSSIBLE NEW RULE

I'm thinking about adding a rule where 1 cheat a week will not break your streak. What do you guys think? Because you have to remember that a cheat can actually be beneficial.
 
Had an excellent workout with the sons this evening, now enjoying a "healthy" version of (house famous :)), Cocoa-Peanut Butter Oatmeal Bars.......

I don't buy the idea that a cheat is beneficial, unless maybe it helps your mental state
 
This past week I have totally bombed when it came to nutrition and fitness. Lifted briefly for the first time this week.

The reason for this has been because its been the first week of University and I have been so stressed and busy and I leave 7:30 AM and come back around 5:30 PM. I've been stressed with classes, having to buy books, financial aid crap, trying to find a job, etc.

I'm starting to get in the groove of things though. Our University has a recreational center with the works.

Weight rooms, cardio machine rooms, basketball courts, volleyball courts, a track room upstairs, rock climbing, etc, etc. All together cost around 40 mil. It's very nice.
So starting on Monday I will be lifting there, which will be weird. I usually hate lifting around others and would rather lift in my own space. But they have unlimited weights and equipment.
 
been going since august 25th. over 2 weeks in.

I think 1 "cheat" a week should be allowed for as gooch said "the mental state". There's nothing fun about eating healthy if you can't have a cookie or two once a week.
