OK Team, I'm back from the elephant polo and raring to go! Fortunately I only gained about 4lbs while I was away, far less than I feared, and I am totally on track to shed that in the next week!

weight training

I have done aerobic exercise for years, with little results. But one thing changed my life totally this year. The first was beginning weight training. I am convinced that muscle development is a crucial part of the weightloss equation, and all women should be pushing iron, to whatever level they are comfortable with. I have toyed with lapband surgery also, but am now considering gastric balloon. Has anyone had this?

blah... not going to lose this week I reckon. I'm challenging myself to do some good exercise every day through til next year instead, and hoping not to put on any weight between now and then :)
