Hi there House of Montague.........

Over at the Capulet Crib we are creating a playlist of our favourite work out songs, I thought you guys might like to do one too. Just another way to get your team connected whilst you strive for weight loss in your own little corner of the globe!

Day 3 people. What is your plan for the day? Maybe it is forgo a treat or spend an extra 5 minutes walking? How about taking that flight of steps instead of the elevator?

This is just the begining for us!
 
Blimey - I though my workout was tough! Way to go Dawnball!

Heh, I wouldn't recommend it. It blew up yesterday's exercise plan, and I might manage some brisk walking or a little jog today, but there's no way I'm going to manage the lifting I had on the schedule. 48 hours out and I still can't stand up quite normally. I didn't do any actual harm, but those muscles are clearly not recovered yet.

You know it's bad when your meathead "Urg! Gym is about feeling like you got hit by a truck as quickly and efficiently as possible! See how much I can hurt when I'm done?" friends look at you and say "Go home and recover, you silly girl!" Stubbornness, you have no place near my dumbbells!

Ok, that's enough feeling sorry for myself.. where to from here? Ah, maybe simple yoga and some balance exercises today? I'll try for a brisk walk once it's warmer outside and my muscles are looser.
 
Having posted my weekly exercises this morning there is already a small change : I have joined a squash league at work! Not that I intend to play that often, but there was a spare court tomorrow and the guy I sit next to wanted a match, so I thought why not.....I havn't played for over 25 years so it could be messy!

Anyway, as a result, I am going to reduce the scheduled duration of my rowing session tomorrow from 2 x 18' intervals to 2 x 10' intervals (41 mins in all). All things being equal that means about 90 mins decent exercise all told, which should burn a good 1,000 calories or so if I dont collapse in a heap first!
 
Hey all

My mystery exercise for the week is going to be learning to kick a rugby ball over the goal! My partner's going to teach me on the weekend and then we'll have a run around. should be fun.

what will I do today to help towards my goal? Well I had a lot of exercise yesterday so this morning I'm letting my body recover. I'm still planning to do something active this afternoon, but it'll be low key. I'm determined to be accurate with my cals today and to eat healthy options.

40 minutes of squash this lunchtime : lost 9 -1, 9- 5, 9 -7!

Thoroughly enjoyable, even in defeat, and an excellent workout so I am going to play again next week! Not sure if I will manage my scheduled rowing session this evening but I will give it a go - tomorrow is a rest day, after all! :)
 
Came down with a cold and fever for past few days. But I have been good with my diet! I don't want to let my team down...

Hey all
We bought a rugger ball today so I can have my goal kicking practice on the weekend. The weather is awful here but we'll do it anyway ! YAY I'lll try to take a photo.

:: laughs mwah ha ha! because the cheese cake was laced with laxatives and Team montague will now have to find new ways of getting rid of the food I sneak into the fridge as Jericho is nolonger allowed to visit the Orphanage!
