Hey guys, this is your support team for the next 6 full weeks! I would like to see you all supporting each other! Don't just stop in to post your weight and leave. I know we will all have those weeks, but lets really try to lean on each other. REMEMBER if you drop out, your costing your team points!! Its up to this team to keep each other in check and make sure we're all hanging in there!


Here is your chart, please copy and paste :) Your weigh in and points are to be calculated from the previous week. For example: on aug. 01 you weigh in....then keep track of your exercise and mini challenge points throughout the week. When you weigh in on August 08, post your loss and the points earned throught that past week. I hope I explained that right? Let me know if you have questions!

I'm ready to get into the groove of things once again. I'm actually doing a weekend of relaxation which means no added exercise other than normal like walking the dogs. Instead out running in the backyard with my ducks Crackers and BABA. I have no weight goal this month but rather want to focus on my exercise activites and finding new exciting ways to get my heart a-beating......

I dont' know if you all read it on the other thread, but i'm letting everyone work out a different team name if you want....i was just really tired when I came up with those! lol

So, what are you guys thinking??
 
I'm ok with the name myself. At least you didn't go with the Team Edward or Jacob. The name isn't whats going to make the team, it's going to be all of our effort and hard work.:grouphug:

Okay, my starting weight is posted! 271.4 lbs, which is 1.4 lb down from where I ended in the July 10lb Challenge. Yay weight loss. :)

Also, I think it would be great to have a team name that reflects weight loss and fitness, but I'm flexible overall and wouldn't care much if the team name didn't change. :)

I hope everyone is having a good morning. I was planning on doing a whole weekend of relaxation but now that this challenge includes points for exercising I'm getting a little treadmill itchy....I guess if I can at least lose 10 lbs this month it will bring my total lose to 49 LBS. I can't believe I've actually stuck it out. In the past when I said I was going to do something about my weight I would quit after 10 LBS. It has been so nice, my knees don't hurt me as much as they used to and I haven't been waking up with my back killing me anymore. My partner says I rarely snore now and when I do it's much lighter. I only started snoring once I gained weight. Thats one of the reason I started thinking about needing to lose weight. Some mornings I would feel so bad because Bren would be tired looking from me keeping him up. So heres to our team and getting healthy and fit.

I saw Holly do this in her own team's thread so I decided to do it too... :) This is my points goal for the 6 weeks.

6 x (2 lb loss) + 6 x (5 hours cardio weekly) + 6 x (3 hour weights weekly) = 12 + 30 + 18 = 60 points :)
 
Wow, I just went and looked over the other teams goals. They are all really planning some serious exercising this challenge. I'm ready to step it up. I'm going to grab my bike today and take a long ride. Who could of thought that exercise could be at least a little bit fun...:jump:

Good for you! If this challenge, your own team, or the other teams motivate you to exercise more, then that's terrific because that's really what this challenge is all about... :) Have a good bike ride!

Ok just got back from doing a 10.78 mile bike ride and it took me 1hour. Just thought I would start the month off with something.:biggrinjester: Hope everyone else had a great day. GO TEAM!!!

I ended up doing 1/2 hour of ab work before I went to bed last night as well as the shred I did in the morning :D Tonight I'll be doing Zumba too!

I think I'm going to go and see if my bike works this weekend. I haven't ridden a bike in 6months since I lived in Kyoto. My dog is fat too... If only we could add him to our team too! I'll try to walk him this week as bonus exercise even though it's coooooold.

Let kick some arse this challenge! GO TEAM CREPUSCULO!

Terrific job, team! :D

Today I did 20 minutes of walking, 10 minutes of belly dancing, 10 minutes of strength training and 20 minutes of kick-boxing for a total of my first hour for the week. :D Sunday is supposed to be my off-day, but of course it never is. I can't not workout at this point. It just feels wrong. :p
